Up for auction is this 2019 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4MATIC finished in Black over an AMG Nut Brown/Black Exclusive Nappa leather interior. Based on the Mercedes-Benz W213 chassis, the E63 AMG S was offered as the range-topping high-performance E-Class powered by a hand-built 5.5L twin-turbocharged V8 engine generating over 600 HP. This 2019 example also highlights the rare AMG High-Performance Ceramic Composite Braking System, an AMG Performance exhaust system, active multicontour heated front seats with massage function, heated rear seats, a panorama glass sunroof, and soft-close doors, as well as the Exterior Lighting Package, AMG Night Package, and Driver Assistance Package.  Boasting an original sticker price over $129k, this one-owner E63 AMG S is now being offered for auction its seller out of Alabama with just over 40k miles showing on the odometer.

This E63 is finished in Black (040) with dark chrome exhaust tips and high-gloss black trim on the window surrounds, mirror housings, fender accents, sill inserts, front splitter, and rear diffuser as part of the AMG Night Package. The E63 AMG S can be differentiated from a standard E-Class by its AMG-specific front and rear fascias, side skirt extensions, trunk lid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Other exterior details include mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, V8 Biturbo badging, and dynamic LED headlights with adaptive high-beam assist included with the Exterior Lighting Package. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The gold-painted calipers of the Ceramic Composite Braking System can be seen through the spokes of the black-finished 20” AMG forged cross-spoke wheels mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS tires.

Inside, the Nut Brown/Black Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery is complemented by Dark Ash Wood trim and a black microfiber suede headliner. Interior options include heated multicontour front seats with massage functionality, heated rear seats, an AMG Nappa Leather performance steering wheel, heated armrests, a panorama sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control, and soft-close doors. The optional Driver Assistance Package also includes DISTRONIC cruise control, and active steering, lane change, braking and blind-spot assist, as well as PRE-SAFE side and rear collision protection. Standard features include dual 12.3” color LED displays with Mercedes MBUX navigation, a 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound System, KEYLESS-GO ignition, multicolor selectable lighting, AMG-branded floor mats, and AMG illuminated door sills.

The E63 AMG S is powered by a hand-built AMG M177 4.0 V8 Biturbo engine rated at 603 HP and 627 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed AMG Speedshift multi-clutch transmission and the dynamic 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system with an electronic limited-slip differential, which allows the E63 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3 seconds.  The E63 S’s selectable drive programs include an AMG-specific race mode, a rear-wheel-drive-only mode, and a launch control setting. The optional Valvetronic AMG performance exhaust system is also controlled by the drive programs and can be manually engaged with the press of a button.

This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title. Loaded with just about every optional feature available, this AMG E63 S offers the luxury and performance to satisfy almost any driver. Do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel.

@Coopertimmy yes and no. It’s due to parts constraints. That being said, it’s effecting prices of the 2021 low mileage AMG V8s mostly.

I have no skin in this game, but it may be worth noting (from my MB dealer) that Mercedes is not importing any AMG V8's in 2022 due to CAFE restrictions (also no G class of any kind). Has anyone heard differently?

@ehd911 thanks! part of my concern is that when I bought my E55AMC as a CPO, 500 or some miles later the front rotors had to be replaced - and I had to pay $$$$ for some reason - so long ago I forget - I said that I certainly did NOT expect to have pay for new rotors after just buying the car and made a stink; dealer agreed - They picked up most of the cost after that!

  • ehd911 (seller) 2 years, 4 monthsago

@minijag Quoting Mercedes, "...Brake pads can generally be expected to last between 25,000 and 65,000 miles, but some brake pads–like the long-lasting carbon ceramic variety–are designed to last over 80,000 miles...", I'll inquire to our consignor/client, yet the shop said it's carbon ceramic brakes"...had plenty of remaining life..." -- note that many report that they get over 100,000 miles from the carbon ceramics (also dust much less, look & perform amazing, etc.). It's a 1-owner car purchased off lease, thus no PPI involved -- no issues or concerns.

  • minijag (registered bidder) 2 years, 4 monthsago

ehd911: thanks for the reply and records; I had an E55 AMG back in the day and loved it but it didnt have 4Matic and would not go 1" in the snow - altho I didnt try snow tires. on the brakes - I know the ceramic brakes last longer than"regular" brakes but with 40k miles we're getting close maybe and the ceramic brakes are a big ticket item. How much lining is left? or put another way. what does your brake say how many miles before they have to be replaced? why didnt the owner buy it off lease? any issues at all that you see - paint, maintenance, ride, anything that would concern you if you were the buyer - because it doesnt look like a PPI was done. thanks again

  • ehd911 (seller) 2 years, 4 monthsago

@haspar930 Yes; the manufacturers "bumper to bumper" warranty is active (it's 48 months/50k miles), est. 14 months, 10k miles remaining -- with extended warranties available as desired. See prior reply regarding the service records that have been uploaded.

  • ehd911 (seller) 2 years, 4 monthsago

@minijag The 20k, 30k and 40k service have been done; the service records have been uploaded to Pcar Admin -- should be live in the image gallery soon. It's had a full brake service and inspection at each service interval (note that the rarely optioned high-performance carbon ceramic brakes will last much longer vs. standard brakes). The tires were replaced 4k miles ago.

  • haspar930 (registered bidder) 2 years, 4 monthsago

Is the original warranty on the E63 AMG still in effect? As noted by others, service records would be very helpful!

  • minijag (registered bidder) 2 years, 4 monthsago

Love the car! any luck with the service records? A and B service complete? are these the original tire or when were they replaced? have brakes been replaced? any PPI done? very tempted. thanks

@Yags No PPF installed. It's current on it's Mercedes service intervals; will request copies and upload ASAP.

  • Yags (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

Does the car have any protective paint film on the front bumper? Can you image the service records?
