The AMG E63 S is the ultimate high-performance version of the Mercedes-Benz W213 E-Class, equipped with a handcrafted twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 producing over 600 HP. This 2019 example was ordered in the premium color of Designo Diamond White Metallic over an AMG Macchiato Beige/Black Nappa leather interior. It was generously optioned at an original sticker price of $121,750 including the Acoustic Comfort Package, the Sun Protection Package, the Exterior Lighting Package, the Warmth and Comfort Package, the AMG Night Package, the Driver Assistance Package, the Air Balance Cabin Purification system, an AMG Performance exhaust system, a panorama sunroof, active multicontour front seats with massage, 3-zone climate control, heated rear seats, and soft-close doors. It has also been modified with two-piece 21” Signature SV301S wheels, a ride height lowering module, Premier Tuning Group ECU and TCU tunes, and F1 Fabrication front camber arms. Remaining under the coverage of its Mercedes Benz Certified Pre-Owned warranty until March of 2024, this 2019 AMG E63 S is now being offered at auction by its seller out of California with approximately 21k miles on the odometer.
The exterior was ordered in Designo Diamond White Metallic with the optional AMG Night Package that includes a high-gloss black front splitter, mirror housings, side fender inserts, window surrounds, rear apron trim strip, and black exhaust tips. Equipment includes model-specific front and rear bumper covers, a rear decklid spoiler, fender vents, LED tail lights, and adaptive LED headlights with adaptive high beam assist as provided by the Exterior Lighting Package. The seller reports that paint protection film has been applied to the entire front end as well as the lower doors, rocker panels, and the lower rear bumper. High-quality ceramic window tints have also been installed all around. Some rock chips are visible on the paint protection film on the front end, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This E63 rides on custom two-piece 21” Signature SV301S wheels mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires approximately 6k miles ago. The factory 20” AMG twin 5-spoke wheels with their original TMPS sensors are said to accompany the sale.
Inside, the AMG Macchiato Brown/Black Nappa leather upholstery is complemented by Black Ash Wood trim and a black microfiber suede headliner. Amenities include heated and ventilated multicontour front seats with massage functionality, heated rear seats, the Air Balance purification and fragrance system, an AMG Nappa Leather performance steering wheel, a panorama sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control, and soft-close doors. The Acoustic Comfort Package adds infrared reflecting glass and increased cabin insulation, while the Sun Protection Package equips manual rear window blinds and a power rear window sunshade. The Warmth and Comfort Package equips heated door panels, a heated center console, and front heated armrests. The optional Driver Assistance Package also includes DISTRONIC cruise control and PRE-SAFE collision protection as well as active steering, lane change, braking, and blind-spot assist. Standard features include dual 12.3” color LED displays with Mercedes MBUX navigation, a 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound System, KEYLESS-GO ignition, multicolor selectable lighting, AMG-branded floor mats, and AMG illuminated door sills. A set of matching WeatherTech floor and trunk liners have been fitted.
The AMG E63 S is powered by a hand-built AMG M177 4.0 V8 Biturbo engine rated at 603 HP and 627 lb.-ft of torque, sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed AMG Speedshift multi-clutch transmission and the dynamic 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system with an electronic limited-slip differential. The AMG E63 S reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3 seconds. Modifications include F1 Fabrication front camber arms, a ride height lowering module, and Premier Tuning Group ECU and TCU tunes. The ECU tune is said to help the engine produce as much as 750 HP and 775 lb.-ft of torque, while the TCU tune improves launch and shift times. The seller reports that A and B services were completed in June of 2021 at 20k miles, the front driver's side brake caliper was replaced due to chipping on the finish, and the passenger front window module and battery were also replaced at the same time. The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned warranty remains in effect in March of 2024 with unlimited mileage.

@Tspike51 Thanks! I appreciate the compliments! In CA, we don’t have smog for the first 8 model years. That said, it’s an easy 15-20 minute process to flash the factory tunes back using a laptop. The car has no hardware modifications.

@thusly On a related note, the oil was previously changed at 15k miles when I bought the car. Although I monitored the oil level, I did not have to add any oil in between changes so it’s definitely not burning any oil.

@thusly I don’t have any problem taking it to the dealer for a PPI. Considering that the auction closes tomorrow, I don’t see that happening before the end of the auction though. As mentioned in the listing, the car is current on all of it’s devices. Both A (oil/filter) and B services (transmission fluid/filter and a few other items) were done in June at 20k. At the same time, a couple small warranty items were addressed. If there were any other issues to be concerned with, the dealer would’ve brought them up then.

@Oldfart01 While it may be true that your experience may vary, I’ve owned several AMG’s and I’ve never found tunes to be an issue with dealers. Furthermore, all other areas of the car are comprehensively covered, regardless of the tunes. It’s pretty common knowledge that these cars remain absolutely bulletproof with a tune from a reputable, quality tuner. All factory ECU controls and limiters remain in place. By no means is this a “shoot for the moon” tune. The car has been tuned for several thousand miles now. Not a single hiccup, CEL, or any other issue. I’m positive that anyone who would be bidding on the car is someone who can appreciate the added performance and modifications.
@iceman302 @iceman302, Beautiful car! You really should say that the warranty is intact "For now, at my local dealer, that is letting me slide." Another state, another dealer, and they can easily say the drivetrain warranty is void because of the tune. Tunes do leave traces, if they want to go looking, after something expensive goes boom. Still an awesome car.

Funny...I'm an ex-AF pilot that was stationed in Germany (1988-1991). I've been retired for a while and have been thinking of moving back there. I have many fond memories of driving on the Autobahn in my 1988 Mazda RX-7 Turbo....although it maxed out at 144-145. :)
@zollerm I think it’s a pretty accurate estimate. I’ve seen videos of stock E63S’s hitting 194-195 MPH on the Autobahn. With all the extra power, another 10 MPH is likely conservative.

Considering that the Dodge Charger Hellcat (similar size and weight) makes less power, has fewer gear ratios, and is less aerodynamic… and it hits 203 MPH, I would guesstimate that my E63S is capable of a number a little north of that.

@zollerm On the horsepower and torque numbers? That’s the ballpark from my tuner. Every car is a little different. It has not been on a dyno. Even then, it’s really only a ballpark. I assure you… the car makes excellent, reliable power. Premier Tuning Group is an AMG only tuner. IMO, they are the best around.

@Gopherbroke Thank you! Yes, they are a lower offset. I built the wheels 1/2” wider front and rear than the factory 21” setup (I believe it’s only available in Europe). The tire sizes match that factory setup. The intention with going wider is to balance the wheel and tire weight properly on the suspension when running those lower, flush offsets. Absolutely no issues with rubbing the fenders or liners… even when the front wheels are turned full lock.
@iceman302. Beautiful car. It looks from the pictures that the installed aftermarket wheels have more offset than stock. Any issues with rubbing or contact with the fender opening or the fender liners? TY
@RoMoCo1 Yes, the CPO warranty remains fully intact. My local dealer has no issue with the tunes as long as I flash it back to stock for any dealer visits. It’s an easy 15-20 minute procedure to flash the factory tunes. If the buyer wants the factory tunes reinstalled, I’m happy to do so. I just had warranty work done for the couple small items mentioned in the listing back in June.
The factory wheels are wearing Pirelli P Zero’s. The fronts are easily 80% and the rears are 60-70%. The current Signature Wheel setup got fresh Michelin Pilot Sport 4S when everything was installed about a year ago. Roughly 6k miles on the current wheel/tire combo.
