The rev limiter will only prevent a "right foot induced" over rev. If you shift from 5th to 2nd you mechanically connect the engine to the wheels and the rev limiter can't do anything about it.

Beautiful T. I feel the T was a message from Porsche that a 911 did not have to have “GT” in front of “911” to matter. The cars in the Carrera range are truly spectacular cars these days and, in my view, far less compromised than GT2s/GT3s etc. The T put a focus on that with standard sport chassis options as well as unlocking some other, usually unavailable ones. Misunderstood initially, I feel the car will come into its own in years to come.

@theigorgorin Thanks! Most who buy a manual Porsche want a DME report because it shows how often the engine has been over revved. In some ways it can be an indication of poor track based usage as that and a mis-shift are the most common causes for high values in the DME report.
Porsche will not even sell manual cars that have high values on the DME report.
If you can get it, I would appreciate it, as would many other potential buyers.
@dionysis oh my, I didn't even know that DME report is a thing or I would have certainly provided it in advance! Unfortunately I do not have it. During the recent service, there were no marks or notices that I was informed of, and the car is under Certified Porsche warranty. I will call the dealer and see if they can provide this report on short notice.

@jnor10 Yes, there seems to be a mistake in the write-up - I will request Pcarmarket crew to correct the description. The car did not come with the rear seat delete option. Window sticker is now attached to the listing, please refer to it as source of truth regarding the options.
Noticed Rear Seat Delete in the description, while the car clearly does not have bucket seats and definitely does have rear seats.
Still a great car and one I'd be happy to see in my garage. :)
