Up for auction is this 2019 Porsche 991.2 Speedster finished in a Paint Sample Green Metallic over black leather. As a final send-off to the 991 generation and a celebration of Porsche’s heritage, the GT3-based Speedster was built in a limited series of 1,948 examples as a reference to the first car ever built under the Porsche brand during 1948. Designated as #1458, this 2019 example commanded an original sticker price of over $306k and is equipped with the front axle system, Light Design Package, Carbon Fiber Illuminated Door-Sill Guards, Chrono Package, extended leather upholstery, and more. The Speedster is now being offered for auction by its seller in Arizona with only miles showing on the odometer.
This Speedster is finished in a Paint Sample Green Metallic color with a black convertible soft top and factory-applied transparent stone guards over the rear fenders. It is also equipped with LED Headlight in Black including Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS). The seller states that the paint of the 911 has been protected by a full ceramic coating of the exterior. Paying homage to previous speedster designs, the 991 Speedster features dual hump-fairings over the rear section, and a steeply raked windshield which is equipped with a Grey Top Tint. This example has 20” GT3 center-locking wheels finished in Satin Black, dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Being equipped with the optional Front Axle Lift System allows the driver to raise and lower the front nose of the car for some extra clearance.
The interior sports carbon-fiber full bucket seats stitched in black leather, a center console lid with the Porsche Crest embossed on it, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, and aluminum pedals. Additionally, this 991.2 includes a Luggage Net in the passenger footwell, the Light Design Package, the Chrono Package, and the dashboard, air vent surrounds and slats, sun visor, and door card are all trimmed in black leather. The driver and passenger have dual-zone climate control, a Bose Surround Sound System, a reversing camera, and auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. Along with that is a commemorative 70th-anniversary placard between the two seats which states the car’s production number 1458/1948.
Based on the 991.2 generation GT3, the Speedster is equipped with a high revving 4.0L flat-six naturally aspirated engine. The flat-six generates up to 502 HP at 8400 RPM and 346 lb.-ft of torque. Connected to the engine is a mandated 6-speed manual transmission sending the power through a limited slip differential to the rear wheels. This 911 can achieve acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.8 seconds. The chassis, steering, and suspension geometry are also carried over from the GT3. The Speedster comes standard with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) this 911 handles remarkably well. This Speedster also includes an Extended Range Fuel Tank. There have been no outstanding maintenance items reported and the CARFAX shows the last documented service and inspection to have been carried out in Arizona on 12/17/2019 with 38 miles.
This sale will include an owner’s manual, two keys and a car cover.

@BlueTahoe congrats and welcome to the Speedster PTS Green Team! Mine is #1417 Jet Green Metallic.
@BlueTahoe Congrats on a rare truly amazing car. Welcome to the club. Drive it and enjoy it, I'm addicted to mine. FYI, the exhaust can be a little quiet, I have a GMG on mine, it sounds proper like it should now.
thanks everyone, and revolutionmedia and the seller. Great car, great process, well done PCAR.
