Celebrating Porsche’s 70th Anniversary, the 991.2 generation 911 Speedster incorporates the chassis and 4.0-liter flat-six engine of the contemporary GT3 model with a 6-speed manual transmission and a unique open-top configuration. This 2019 example is one of 1,948 produced in total. It comes finished in Jet Black Metallic over a Black leather interior with red stitching and optioned with an extended-range fuel tank, the Front Axle Lift System, 2-zone automatic climate control, the Light Design Package, Bose Surround Sound System, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, leather seat backrests, the Chrono Package, illuminated carbon fiber door sills, painted side skirts, LED headlights in black, and Satin Aluminum wheels. Showing only 732 miles on the odometer, this 911 Speedster is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts.
Using the wide bodyshell of the Carrera 4 Cabriolet with GT3-derived bumpers, side skirts, and dual center-mounted tailpipes, the 911 Speedster is characterized by its short, steeply raked windscreen and double-hump aluminum rear decklid that conceals a manual convertible top. This example is finished in Jet Black Metallic and features optional LED headlights in black with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), and painted side skirts. It rides on 20” GT3 center-lock wheels in Satin Aluminum with like-new Sport Maxx Race 2 tires from 2019. Front-end paint protection film has been applied, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather upholstery complemented by deviated red stitching and carbon fiber trim. It features optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats with leather-covered backrests, a leather SportDesign steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marker, illuminated carbon fiber door sills, auto-dimming mirrors, aluminum pedals, Bose Surround Sound System, Voice Control, 2-zone automatic climate control, the Light Design Package, and the Chrono Package with a dashboard-mounted lap timer.
Derived from the 991.2 GT3, the Speedster’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine features individual throttle bodies, a titanium exhaust system, and an output of up to 502 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed GT Sport manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Standard equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), rear-axle steering, dynamic engine mounts, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).

Maybe the best Porsche made since the CGT, it's that good. I love mine, would never part with it. Glorious noises above 7k, stiff chassis, supple ride, all GT3 running gear, it's a blast in the canyons and can keep up with almost anything. These are only going to climb IMO.

Oh wow, this is the first 991.2 Speedster I've seen that didn't have the bucket seats! I have one of these but it has the carbon bucket seats. I ofter wonder if I'd enjoy the car more with regular electric sport seats like these. For sure these seats would make it far easier to get in and out of the car as well as getting stuff into the decent-sized cubby holes behind the seats. Which are great if you want to use it to take a trip in. For those wondering: yes these have a typically spacious 911 front trunk as well.
For those considering a bid, these are VERY enjoyable cars to drive! Naturally aspirated, high-revving engine and wonderful manual transmissions (with rev match if you're feeling lazy or stuck in heavy traffic) but with Apple CarPlay and a decent stereo.
Seller: can you post the Monroney sticker? I see it has the front-end lifter but does it have the extended gas tank as well? To be me these are two important options in this car. Also you should post pictures of the car with the roof up.
