The pinnacle Targa model of its generation, the Porsche 991.2 Targa 4 GTS comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, center-lock Turbo S wheels, revised styling, and a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine rated at 450 HP. This final-year example was ordered in Agate Grey Metallic over a black leather interior featuring extended deviated stitching and exclusive leather trim. The car was also optioned with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, Rear Axle Steering, Bose Surround Sound System, and Adaptive Sport Seats Plus. It was acquired by the current owner in June of 2019 and customized with a removable Martini Racing livery, Sharkwerks exhaust, and IPD intake plenum. Showing approximately 15k miles on the odometer, this GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Targa is finished in Agate Grey Metallic with GTS trim including SportDesign mirrors, SportDesign front and rear bumpers, tinted taillights, and black accents. Optional details include a painted rear “PORSCHE” logo, deleted model lettering, and LED headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus. The factory 20” 911 Turbo S center-lock wheels were dressed in new Vredestein Ultrac Sport Giugiaro Design tires in October of 2020 at approximately 7,900 miles. A removable vinyl Martini Racing livery has been applied and the car is said to have always been garage-kept. The CARFAX report shows minor damage to have occurred in 2018 (mechanical only) which the current owner addressed through a full pre-purchase inspection and wheel alignment upon their acquisition in 2019. Additionally, the owner had another pre-purchase inspection and wheel alignment recently completed in preparation for sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the recent inspection results.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather including the optional Extended Deviated Stitching Interior Package and deletion of standard GTS Alcantara. Additional leather trim covers the steering column casing and sun visors while the stitching is highlighted by exclusive Guards Red seatbelts. Other options include Lane Change Assist (LCA), a heated multifunction steering wheel in leather, a fire extinguisher, Bose Surround Sound System, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Premium Package Plus, and Voice Control.
This GTS carries a twin-turbocharged 3.0L flat-six engine that develops up to 450 HP stock. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission providing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH. Standard performance features include PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package. This example was factory optioned with Rear Axle Steering and has been upgraded with an aftermarket Sharkwerks exhaust and IPD intake plenum for increased power and sound (original parts included). The seller reports regular oil changes have been observed and the car has been maintained exclusively by Marin Porsche and S-Car-Go Racing of San Rafael, CA. An oil change and brake fluid flush were completed by S-Car-Go in July of 2022 along with a wheel alignment and pre-purchase inspection (results shown).
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, indoor and outdoor Porsche car covers (see photos), original exhaust and plenum parts, and a clean title.

even though the hood decals are so out of place on this car, the bidders should know it is easily removable and probably saved the hood from suffering a few rock chips. Good luck to all.

@Markthom67 - I don’t have the accident report, nor the repair order -which is why I have been so diligent in getting the 4wheel alignments, etc….
@AmeliaIslander only 2 wheels have “curb rash”- and even that is very light. No, no dyno tests have ever been done - but I recently ran against a new C8 Corvette and shocked him by pulling away….
do you have the documentation showing exactly what damage occurred and the repairs completed thanks
How many wheels with curb rash? And has the car been dyno'ed to substantiate IDP's (dubious) claim of a 40hp increase even with the Fabspeed.
Making up my mind about the graphics, but they are removeable.

@Ryanaerickson - I will take some pictures later today; the car is in my hangar so it will take a few minutes to get to it - but the roof has no wear….. The car has ALWAYS been garaged, and usually covered, and I changed the front plate once, so I took the old plate sticker off and put the new one on - they are designed to be removed without leaving any marks - same for the Martini graphics.
Can you also show a close up of the top in place? Particularly the rear corners where some folding wear can show up on some examples. Thanks again.
Any idea what it would take to remove the martini graphics? I’m assuming the front license plate is also a graphic that can be removed? How long have the graphics been on the car? Parked out of the sun when not in use? Thx
PS - the Vredesteins were actually replaced at 7,120 Miles - so they have a few more miles on them than PCAR Market says..... I wanted "pretty" tyres - i've NEVER had people comment on the look of tyres before like they do these - these Vredesteins are great!
@hbermanlaw - yes, it's still under warranty - the Porsche warranty is for 50,000 miles, or 4 years from "in-service" date, so it will be in effect until September of 2022.....So no worries buying the car!!

Not sure what that is, my lift is red, but I took the picture, I can assure you that is my car….
@doltond the 4th photo down with the text, showing the exhaust without the tips... the diffuser is black -which is normal- but above the diffuser is clearly a shiny red rear bumper.

The report showing a 2017 is just a typo. What I was told was that the original owner (who has just tons of money) skidded in the rain, hit a curb, and bent a wheel - NO BODYWORK - hence my focus on getting the alignment checked. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a car that has had its alignment checked as much…. ?
Also, do you happen to know any details about the incident that caused the damage?

This is a GREAT car - I normall don’t buy cars with Carfax issues, but this one was SOO right, and the “damage’ was limited to mechanical things (e.g. no bodywork) that I covered myself by doing a PPI and a 4-wheel alignment BEFORE I bought it. In the 14,000 miles since, it has NEVER shown any alignment issues, but just to be careful, I had S-Car-Go (look them up if you don’t know them - they are awesome!) do ANOTHER 4-wheel alignment and PPI when I took the car to them last week to have them change the oil and do a brake fluid flush. If I weren’t buying a Ferrari 296 GTS (I’m on the Board of the Ferrari club) I would keep this car. With the IPD plenum and Sharkwerks exhaust, it’s quick - my guess is 500+ HP….. Doug
