This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original books and window sticker, 2 car covers, service records and a clean title.  This rare PTS Irish Green example is surely one of the most elegant 991.2’s on the road, do not let this special opportunity pass you by.

Looks like freshair1 gets a Car today RESERVE IS OFF

  • Olasek 3 years, 6 monthsago

@cwoodman67 despite freshair1's unfortunate comments he is bidding, he is actually the highest bidder at this point however paradoxically it may sound ... but I do agree it is a beautiful car.

  • RNAU68 (seller) 3 years, 6 monthsago

@cwoodman67 Thanks I hope it those sell today.

  • cwoodman67 (registered bidder) 3 years, 6 monthsago

Freshair1 if you don't have anything good to say don't say it. Your comments were rude and uncalled for. Everyone has different tastes which is the beauty of building the Porsche you want.

    Good luck with the sale.

I don't know why these guys are making such a fuss about the lack of protective wrap on the car. In the case is such a low mileage car, are it is actually better if it is not wrapped yet. That way the buyer can choose their own paint protection specialist who will not have to remove an inferior wrap before he can wrap it again properly. It will only cost about 5K to wrap it anyway. So, I suggest they just buy the car or not, and then have it wrapped or not as they see fit, should they turn out to be the prevailing bidder. Otherwise, their comments are completely irrelevant.

@Btpa123 No spot exhaustJust a standard sport exhaust for the Carrera S

  • Btpa123 3 years, 6 monthsago

Hi - does this car have sports exhaust ?

  • RNAU68 (seller) 3 years, 6 monthsago

@freshair1 Just to be clear I did not build this car to track .this was to be my retirement car .to drive locally I personally own three other vehicles so I did not spare any expense .The question about the clear bra issue this car was to be ship out of state nobody in my area is satisfactory to provide the level of work I want. This car has no paint issue as you can see our any other issues in all the photos this is show quality vehicle . I think you can see from the cost of the build I don't mine spending money on quality . but I am not willing to pay for someone to throw plastic on my car just to say I have clear bra at 7k . I hope this answer your question about this issue and this build no Porsche is built the same .

  • freshair1 (registered bidder) 3 years, 6 monthsago

Build out on this car does not make sense. Beautiful PTS paint with no clear bra protection, plus an interior which would rival a Bentley, yet it also has $8900 worth of ceramic brakes on a car that will never be tracked. Without the over the top interior, sunroof and CCM brakes, this would be a highly desirable car.

To All who have place bids on this vehicle and to all others that are interested if you have time go to the Porsche website in build 992 Carrera S variant in the exact spec of this vehicle and you will notice to build this exact spec minus the mahogany trim that’s no longer available the price is now 175k .So bid with confidence this car is a show car and every way . This paint job was worth the price of admission when you see this car in person. When this car is park next to another Porsche with out paint to sample it make the other car look doll in comparison .I am unfortunately selling understanding that I wont be able to replace her not at this level.

@OneTrueCarGuy For you fellow Porsche enthusiast the millionth 911 was S was painted in this color I can’t believe that was 2017 Also the third Porsche of the factory floor was painted and this color and given to Ferdinand This is the family color.

  • OneTrueCarGuy (registered bidder) 3 years, 6 monthsago

All I can say is "WOW". If this car was a manual with a slick roof, I would jump right into the auction. I currently have a '75 Carrera and a '18 Carrera T (manual / slick roof) and Irish Green is my all time favorite Porsche 911 color. I actually prefer the 991.2 over the current 992 and seeing the current values on "special" cars like this one, it looks like many others feel the same way. Best of luck with the auction.

Gorgeous car - I’ve never been a big fan of green but this car is stunning. GLWTA.

  • RNAU68 (seller) 3 years, 6 monthsago

@Dozer The paint is entirely original no clear bras were added. This car was driven locally only in 16 months I drove it 515 miles and I didn’t want to add a clear bra to this vehicle.. I payed so much for the paint I did not trust the local people in my area to perform that work I wanted the entire car paint protected but they wanted to use pre cut sheets but I wanted a custom wrap. The car was about to be shipped out of state next driving season for a custom instal . But plans have changed.

  • Dozer (registered bidder) 3 years, 6 monthsago

Paint all original? Any clear bra? Thanks.
