Nearing the top of Porsche’s Cayenne model range, this 2019 Turbo was configured at an original sticker price of over $162k. It comes finished in Jet Black Metallic over a black leather interior and features the optional Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), 21” Exclusive Design wheels, Night Vision Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), the Burmester 3D High-End Surround Sound System, and much more. Cared for by its original owner in California and remaining covered under factory warranty, this Cayenne Turbo is now being offered for auction showing just over 44k miles on the odometer.

Compared to a standard Cayenne, the Turbo model receives a unique front and rear fascia as well as painted rocker panels and wheel arch extensions. This example comes finished in Jet Black Metallic with optional window trim in high-gloss black, clear taillights, and LED-Matrix Design headlights in black along with roof rails and Sport Tailpipes in black. The optional 21” Cayenne Exclusive Design wheels were dressed in a set of new Pirelli tires in late 2021 and the seller notes some minor scratches and scuffs throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather and features optional Anthracite Chestnut trim with aluminum inlays. Other options include Porsche crested headrests front and rear, an Ionizer, power sunblind for rear side windows, seat heating/ventilation front and rear, Comfort Access, 4-zone climate control, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Night Vision Assist, Soft Close Doors, ParkAssist, head-up display, Ambient Lighting, thermally & noise insulated glass, and Burmester 3D High-End Surround Sound System.

A twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine produces up to 541 HP and 567 lb.-ft of torque, driving all four wheels by way of an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission. Standard performance features include Porsche Traction Management (PTM), Integrated Porsche 4D-Chassis Control, Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB). This example also features the optional Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). Most scheduled maintenance has been completed at Beverly Hills Porsche and recent service includes the replacement of the brakes and an oil change at Porsche Santa Clarita. The remainder of the original 4-year/50k-mile warranty remains in effect.

This sale will include a clean title.

  • baderink (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@RipCity I am not with the car right now, but I believe that is correct.

  • RipCity (registered bidder) 1 year, 4 monthsago

Thanks again for the info. Truly appreciated. So, for picture 20 in particular, that’s a sort of smoothed-out edge where some presumably ugly curb rash has been spot-repaired the best it reasonably can? It looks like what I’ll call “nicely uniform damage” as opposed to a bunch of ugly curb rash. My basic question is: It’s not just tire dressing on the wheel, right? Just a bit hard for me to tell in the photo. Not trying to detract at all and, as the current high bidder, simply like to understand what I’m seeing. Again, very much appreciated. Thank you.

  • baderink (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@RipCity And just to be clear, the car has no warning lights. It is fresh out of Porsche Dealer service and inspection. But as you said, it is under warranty so really no worries.

Comes with 2 keys, books, Window Sticker.

  • baderink (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@RipCity We did not do a full refinishing on the wheels. We have done it in the past and it did not come out great. Instead, we had the dealer use their vendor to do a spot repair. It is not perfect, but definitely better than before without sacrificing the original finish (or not matching the unrepaired wheels).

@RipCity I am not a tech, so this is my best guess based on quick internet research. The WMJ6 reprogramming appears to be necessary any time the car is plugged in or the battery is disconnected in order to reset and reconnect the seat module. I found the TSB, but it is not letting me post the link. Google: "WMJ6 - Re-Programming and/or Coding Seat Control Unit (Workshop Campaign)". I just asked my client and he never had any seat issues, so it has to be an internal thing.

Also, I love the wheels and saw you had 2 redone recently. In photo #20, is that a long swath of curb rash or perhaps just some tire conditioner that’s on the wheel? Thanks!

@baderink - understand the car is still under warranty as a nice protection for any buyer for any existing conditions. Knowing this, would you mind saying more about what you know pertaining to the repeated attention to #WMJ6 reprogramming that shows a couple of times in the Carfax? It looks like a recall service item (common, of course) and just wondering if it’s some sort of ongoing matter for this car? Was there a noticeable recurring issue or is the Tech just being double sure it’s done, or…? Very respectfully asked, just seeking to understand and again feel being under warranty allows a matter-of-fact discussion since any issue could of course be addressed. Thank you!

  • RipCity (registered bidder) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@baderink, thank you! That’s super helpful info. Agree about the composite and glad to have the tire and other info. I’ve owned Porsche SUVs including Cayenne and tire guys will certainly tell you it’s a torque-gifted car :) I’ll reach out if advisor conversation needed and appreciate that offer, thanks!

  • baderink (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@RipCity Thanks for the bid, happy to respond to your questions.

    - Invoice (pic # 261) shows in March 2022 the two front tires were replaced at 35k miles. All the tires show late-2021 date codes, so they all must have been replaced. I will say that they do not show a lot of wear, but facts are facts.
    - The service that was completed this month (11/15/2022) included an oil service, some warranty work, and replacement of brake pads all around. The pads were replaced because the dash light was on when we picked up the car. This car is equipped with the composite brakes (versus steel or ceramic), and the recommendation for work was made by a Porsche dealer (contact me direct and I can set up a call with the advisor). I did everything that was recommended. I was told the rotors were similar to the ceramic system, and does not wear like regular steel brake rotors.
    - The passenger side wheels had some minor curb rash that we opted to repair. It was all aesthetic.

Hope this answers your questions, happy to elaborate as necessary.

@seller, hello! I've thrown in a bid. Anticipating a higher figure to buy, wondering about the following for clarification of condition, please. In advance, I'm sorry if I've missed any docs or info, which I've tried to scour. Thanks for your replies:.
*Appears from invoices that front tires have about 9K miles on them but do we know if rear were ever mounted (shows backordered in 2021)?
    * Inspection report appears to be 15,000 miles ago and brakes all fine. Later, brake pads and peripheral items were replaced. Porsche normally does not condone pads-only, recommending rotors too. Did I miss new rotors or are these original, please?
    * What repairs were needed to wheels please? Did the cause of wheel repair cause any other damage, please?
Again, thank you very kindly for your replies!

@porscheGT117 No PPF. It was ceramic coated at some point (possibly numerous times), but not recently. The car was always garaged both at home and at work, and was maintained by some high-end detailers (versus your run-of-the-mill carwash).

  • porscheGT117 (registered bidder) 1 year, 4 monthsago

    Any PPF or Ceramic Coating?

  • baderink (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

Just a reminder to all just how special this example is - it was a custom order $162k+ MSRP. Basically every option available! The spec sheet is in the gallery for this ONE OWNER, no stories super SUV.
