@lee88 2000 units is a lot of cars. Too many to maintain this type of premium. Wait until the 918 guys start selling. Prices have to drop in the next 6 to 12 months.
@mavenplayer I'd argue a Speedster is far more than a roof-less GT3 Touring. This is the first open car from the GT department ever, who knows if there will be another. Also there's a ton of carbon fiber panels similar to the 911R (front hood, rear decklid/cowl, front fenders) and some minor engine tweaks like the RSR ITBs. So my hunch is that 991 Speedsters will likely benchmark more to the other limited/numbered production 991 (911R) than to the 991 GT3 Touring in terms of price.
So, $100K over sticker would put it over $410K. The Speedster is essentially a GT3 Touring with an open top. Is it really worth twice the price of fairly fully spec'ed Touring, when about 800 Tourings were imported to the US and close to 2,000 Speedster will be sold worldwide?

@Rescue8764 Some dealerships received allocation and spec'ed cars without allocating to a specific buyer. Or sometimes buyers back out. Either way dealers sometimes have these GT cars and look to sell them at a premium if market conditions permit.
