Regarding the warranty. I would call your local VW dealer and transfer it through them. The VW dealer here locally said they would do the transfer very easily, however I cannot speak to every VW dealer process across the country.

@1of1 We spoke to a local Volkswagen dealer here in Toledo and they mentioned that it does still have warranty left on the car and the numbers they verbally told us we similar to what you mentioned.
The Basic Warranty shows thereis 67,665 miles or 24 months left. Is that correct?

I’m well aware Oregon is no vehicle sales tax state. It looks as a couple of owners just flipped for a quick profit. A beauty, that’s what the wife wants.
Rest assured the oil change and safety inspection were just completed today. I will send a copy to PCar for them to post in the photos. It was done at Belle Tire off Central Ave. here in Toledo Ohio. Happy to share their contact if anyone would like to call them. I do not see any signs of repaint anywhere on the car.

Agree with comment that service records are needed. What in the way of a PPI or full inspection has been preformed? Has it ever been in an accident or repainted anywhere?

Like many I learned to drive decades ago in my mother's Beetle. Later while in grad school I bought a new cabriolet which was then stolen. What great memories. This offered example is the pinnacle of the beloved Beetle ! This should go for serious money. Best of luck.

@ Anpdup88 The women we bought it from has owned it since 2020 and there was a Dealer transfer involved prior to her buying it because she wanted the diamond stitching and her VW dealer did not have it. Beyond that I cannot say for sure but the car is an absolute Stunner.
You advised Elderly woman owned but was actually the 4th owner. Carfax advises it’s been titled 4 times…Any idea who were the first 3 owners and why it changed hands so many times? Thanks.
