Now available for auction is this 2020 BMW G29 Z4 sDrive 3.0i finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black leather interior with black high-gloss trim. Introduced at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the fifth generation Z4 was inspired by the iconic BMW Z8 roadster and was developed alongside Toyota’s GR Supra. Only available as a roadster, the G29 Z4 features a soft convertible top as opposed to the retractable hardtop of its predecessor. A one-owner California car, this Z4 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona showing just under 13k miles showing on the odometer.
This Z4 comes finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and features distinctive air breathers behind the front wheels, Satin Aluminum exterior trim, an integrated rear spoiler, and an aggressive rear diffuser with dual exhaust tips. The vertically aligned LED headlights flank the Active Air Stream Kidney Grille, which opens and closes depending on driving conditions. Detailed images are available in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The Z4 is built on BMW’s Cluster Architecture platform, which provides a lighter weight and 50/50 distribution due to its aluminum/steel hybrid construction. Despite an increase in length over the previous Z4, the G29 has a shorter wheelbase and wider track to improve handling. The retractable soft top can be raised or lowered in as little 10 seconds, up to speeds of 31 MPH. This Z4 rides on 19” V-spoke Style 772 wheels finished in grey and dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The driver-focused cabin is upholstered in black leather and black high-gloss trim, with heated M-Sport seats, leather-wrapped heated Sports steering wheel and the Sport Line Package. Standard features include dual-zone climate control, navigation, Apple CarPlay, rain-sensing wipers, parking distance control, and a rearview camera. The Z4 also showcases the BMW Live Cockpit Pro system, which displays customized driving and multimedia information on the digital display ahead of the driver, as well as on the 10.2-inch touchscreen display in the center of the dashboard. Driver assistance features include active cruise control, lane change warning system, lane keep assist, front collision warning sensor, parking assistant, and collision warning with brake intervention. BMW ConnectedDrive services allow for over-the-air software updates to the operating system, and the digital key feature also enables the car to be unlocked and started via a smartphone app.
This Z4 is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four engine that sends as much as 255 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. This allows the Z4 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 5.4 seconds up to a top speed governed at 155 MPH. The Z4 features selectable drive modes; Comfort, Sport, and Sport+, which control characteristics of the steering, damping, transmission, and throttle response. This Z4 has been kept up to date with regular maintenance and has been serviced previously at Crevier BMW and BMW of Valencia.

@DckWilt The Photo Shoot was done before a Detail. The car was that clean when we purchased it. The Photo of the car in the Showroom was after the detail. I do not think the BMW dealer would put a Z4 in the Loaner car Program. It was probably a GM or Manager Demo. It was then registered as a personal Lease. #16 Picture Shows that it had a front plate Bracket as front plates are required in California. I personally took off the California plate and took off the front license plate bracket and put it in the trunk, as Arizona does not require front plates. That is why you will see 2 tiny holes in the front bumper cover. The front of the car is in Excellent condition. It looks amazing. The car was Highly Detailed.

This is a great car that would have shown better in photos after it had been detailed. It looks like this probably was a loaner at the first dealer and then purchased by the first owner in Valencia? Is pic #1 of the car what it looks like now or when you purchased it? Picture #16 show that it had a European plate or some large plate on it at some point. The front of the car looks like it has many more miles on it than 13,000. Has the front end been repaired, repainted and detailed?
