Now up for auction is this 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 finished in Grabber Lime over an Ebony leather interior. Introduced as the most powerful street-legal Ford ever built, the GT500 is the latest Mustang to wear the Shelby badge and comes equipped with a supercharged 5.2 L V8 engine producing 760 HP.  This 2020 example is also factory optioned with an exposed carbon-fiber instrument panel, Recaro leather-trimmed seats, an over-the-top stripe, the Handling Package, and the Technology Package.  Originally sold in California, this GT500 highlights a clean one-owner history on CARFAX and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts while showing just under 6k-miles on the odometer.

This GT500 is finished in Grabber Lime, a vibrant shade of green inspired by a vintage Mustang heritage color from the 1970s. For 2020, the GT500 sports dramatically revised styling with a focus on improved aerodynamics and downforce.  Some details include a unique vented hood with hood pins, quad-tip exhaust, and LED lighting with sequential turn signals. This particular example also features an optional high-gloss Ebony over-the-top stripe, matching side stripes, red Brembo brake calipers, and the Handling Package which includes an aerodynamic gurney flap and splitter wickers for increased downforce.  It rides on black painted 20" 5-double-spoke wheels that come dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.  Some minor curb rash can be seen on one of the wheels, although the seller confirms that the wheel will be reconditioned prior to sale.

As the most powerful road-going Mustang ever, this GT500 is equipped with a supercharged 5.2 L V8 engine capable of delivering 760 HP and 625 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.  With this powertrain, Ford claims a 0-60 time in the mid-3-second range as well as a quarter-mile drag time of under 11 seconds.  Other performance features include a Torsen differential, transmission oil cooler, electronic power-assisted steering, the Magneride Damping System, and a launch control function.  The last documented service was carried out in 2020 by Towne Ford Sales of California at 3,251 miles.  An oil change was reportedly carried out on 3/26/21 and the brake pads are said to be 10mm all-around.
