As the owner of numerous Porsches and Shelbys over the years, including both the new GT500 and GT350, as well as a 991.2 GT3, I can tell you that each make is spectacular in its own way. The Shelby makes noises that a Porsche will only ever dream of, and has brutal roll-on power at a tremendous value as well. In turn, the steering and chassis feel of a new GT500 will never be confused with the more precise feel of a P-GT car (nor should this be expected for double the price).
A quick search of VIR lap times (Car and Driver Lightning Lap 2021) will confirm that the 2020 GT500 just recently embarassed a brand new Porsche 718 GT4, outran a $300K Lamborghini Huracan EVO, and came within two seconds of tying the lap time of the almighty new 992 Turbo S. These cars are no longer just one-trick ponies from stoplight to stoplight. They are true contenders on track as well.
@captgiddyup Opps! Overlooked (somehow) a Green VW Bug with no Reserve. Gotta get on that.
@LloydChristmas But where are the really cool cars absent from PCAR like SATURN Sky, CHRYLER CROSSHAIR, MAZDA Miata, Mini, and VW Bugs? Let’s get them on PCAR too!

@ricmau9 ha ha -- understand completely. I'm down to 8 cars from 14 including 6 Porsche. Need to move a 95 928 GTS soon to fund something else. Appreciate the note, will be watching this one closely. GT500 is fantastic.
@Abuong01 I also have a 20 350R- just bought a new 992 S Cab- not driving Fords as you can see- Love them both - maybe getting practical- the cab is my 11th car?
@ricmau9. Gorgeous car. Why are you parting with it after 100 miles.

I love cars. I have brands that I prefer. I own classic Shelby‘s new Shelby‘s Aston Martin‘s BMW Porsche. This forum allows me to look at several different examples from many manufactures. I enjoy the variety. Keep it up.
@Saibaji Currently there are two Jaguars, two BMW's, an Audi, Ford, Renault, Toyota, Ferrari, Volvo and a Bentley currently listed on PCar. It's far from Porsche only.
@captgiddyup So your point is.....
Having owned 17 Porsche since 1973, I’ll check back with PcarMarket 4 days and 7 hours from now. My next car will be a Porsche. And my last car will be a Porsche. Enough stated
@carcraze19 no there are no chips- that is reflection of sun- when you look at different angle no such white spots. There is not a mark on this car.
Is there 2 chips on the front in pic# 21 ? 2 white spots in the center. Thanks
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@fredf543 At half the price of P cars.
Beautiful car deserves some respect. Yes there are a few great cars out there that Ford, GM and Chrysler make that are worth owning.
@Nfldcoffee I promise this isn’t a pissing contest. That Mustang is BAD ASS! I would love to drive the hell out of it. I just thought this was a Porsche forum, and enjoyed knowing that I would only see porsches here. But it’s morphed into a general car selling platform. All good tho. I still enjoy viewing all the cars here, Pcar or not.
@Nfldcoffee Thanks- as owner of blue Shelby- I own 2 Porsches and a 350R also besides the 500.
@Saibaji , NO this is welcomed , I enjoy seeing other collectable sport cars like this Shelby GT500, I own two Porsches and a GT350
This is getting ridiculous. A Ford Mustang on Pcar?
