New 2020 Lincoln Continental Black Label Coach Door Edition

Now available for auction is this new 2020 Lincoln Continental Black Label Coach Door Edition is finished in Chroma Crystal Blue over a handcrafted Alpine white leather interior.  In 2019, Lincoln produced a limited run of 80 Coach Door editions to commemorate 80 years of the Lincoln Continental, all of which sold out within 48 hours. For 2020, Lincoln once again opened orders for these special edition cars, with a total of approximately 100 having been produced in this second run.  Offering comprehensive luxuries and custom bodywork created by Cabot Coach Builders at the behest of Ford/Lincoln, this highly exclusive Continental is now being listed by its seller out of Illinois while showing only 13 miles on the odometer.

The Chroma Crystal Blue paint is said to remain as new.  The Coach Door Edition Continentals are unique to the model range in that they have been stretched by six inches and are adorned with rear-hinged back doors that harken back to the Continentals of the mid-1960s.  The only other cars that could be ordered with center opening doors in 2020 were produced by Rolls Royce, making these Lincolns especially unique.  This example rides on 20” polished aluminum Black Label Package wheels that come dressed in Good Year tires.

Inside, the Alpine leather, as well as all other interior surfaces, are said to be in new condition. This car features all of the equipment one would receive on a standard Black Label Package Continental including Lincoln's 30-way adjustable front seats, Revel Audio System, Alcantara headliner, a head-up display, and an embroidered Black Label insignia. During the coach door conversion, a flow through the rear console is added that includes power outlets, cushion tables, a champagne holder, as well as integrated audio and climate controls.  Additionally, this example has been specified with the $3K Rear Seat Package which adds rear seat heating, ventilation, power reclining seatbacks, lumbar support, and sun blinds. An image of the original window sticker is provided in the photo gallery.

This Lincoln is powered by a twin-turbocharged Ecoboost V6 engine producing 400 horsepower and 400lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through a six-speed Selectshift automatic transmission to all four wheels producing a 0-60 time of approximately 5.5 seconds. Other features include adaptive suspension, adaptive steering, adaptive cruise control with Stop-And-Go, and Active Park Assist with a 360-degree camera.  This exclusive model also includes Black Label Member Privileges which consists of a 4-year/50k-mile premium maintenance plan, remote service pickup and re-delivery (50mi radius), anytime carwash, travel collection, and Lincoln Access rewards (70k welcome points).

This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title. Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity to own a unique and highly collectible piece of American automotive history.

@porscheklaus I am afraidThis analogy is not quite right VW could not give the Phaeton away,And the suicide door continental sold out in just a few hours. And this used one is clearly going to go for a premium. Today, a used Satan is worth precisely 2/3 of the square root of dick.

  • Dozer (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

@porscheklaus, There were over 84,000 Phaetons produced over a 15 year period world-wide. There are 215 Coach Door Continentals.

  • ogdenlincoln (seller) 1 year, 6 monthsago

@RI9971 Good morning! You are correct! The price on the window sticker is only for the Continental Black Label that is used to perform the Coach Edition conversion on.

  • RI9971 (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

I was actually surprised the original sticker price was not closer to $100,000.

These really are hand built. It's not a Bentley but it's a better choice for an Executive D.D. That Ecoboost really moves. GL
