Crafted in Canada to rival the Ukrainian Sherp, FAT TRUCK ATVs are engineered for off-road adventures, including water traversal. They boast turbodiesel engines, hydrostatic transmissions, carbon fiber belt drives, and skid steer operation. This 2020 example is finished in White over a Black interior and features 24” wheels, LED lighting, a roll cage, centralized one-handed driving controls, seating for eight, cabin heating and air conditioning, a rearview camera, and much more. Showing 263 hours of operation on the digital hour meter, this FAT truck is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This 2.8C model features a sealed aluminum body painted in white with black accents and dimensions measuring approximately 101″ in height, 146.5″ in length, and 100″ in width. It comes equipped with LED headlights and taillights, hinged front and rear doors, a windshield defroster and wiper, sliding side windows, and a roof hatch/sunroof. A roll cage enhances safety, while additional features include a front LED light bar, front and rear receiver hitches, and a roof hatch. It rolls on 6-lug 24″ alloy wheels encased in 1640×640 Fat Truck low-pressure tires designed with paddle treads, offering both traction and flotation on water. The seller notes minor scratches and weathered finish on the exterior, scratches on the underfloor shielding, and corrosion on the front and rear bumpers and bottom front door hinge. Inside, the front compartment features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, providing seating for 8 individuals with seatbelts, complemented by foldable rear compartment seats. Features include a reverse-view camera, air conditioning, an accessory control panel, shoulder belts, a storage pocket, and a master power cutoff switch. A central control console, complete with a display screen and a joystick, facilitates vehicle steering and operation from either seat. Power is derived from a Caterpillar 2.2-liter turbodiesel inline-4 engine, known as the C2.2, delivering around 66 HP and 153 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through a hydrostatic transmission and belt final drive. With a standard setup offering 20.7” of ground clearance and the capability to tackle a 35-degree grade, it reaches a top land speed of 25 mph. Braking is facilitated by hydrostatic pressure and a safety disc brake is automatically engaged when the vehicle stops. Additionally, a central tire inflation system maintains tire pressure at a preset level. Recent maintenance includes an engine oil and filter change, hydraulic fluid change, and replacement of the fuel, engine air, and cabin air filters, all conducted in December 2023.
