The Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologato) was introduced in 2021 as a track-focused version of Lamborghini’s Huracan, equipped with a race-inspired aerodynamic package, carbon fiber bodywork, rear-wheel steering, magnetic dampers, and carbon-ceramic brakes. This 2021 example was ordered in Nero Noctis over a Nero Cosmus Alcantara interior, optioned with red contrast stitching throughout. Showing just under 300 miles from new, this 2021 Lamborghini Huracan STO is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of New Jersey.
The carbon fiber bodywork of this STO is finished in Nero Noctis (LY9B) and features a fully revised aerodynamic package based on the Hurcan Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO race cars. The STO is equipped with a full carbon fiber front clamshell referred to as the “cofango” by Lamborghini, along with finned quarter panels, aggressive side skirts, NACA air ducts, a large adjustable rear wing, and a finned rear diffuser with an STO badge cut-out and integrated exhaust outlets, which is said to collectively improve downforce by 37% over a standard Huracan. Exposed carbon fiber can be seen on the hood, air snorkel, fender louvers, and rear wing. Equipment includes LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a front suspension lift system, heated exterior mirrors, red brake calipers with black Lamborghini script, and STO-exclusive center-locking magnesium 20” forged wheels, which are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza high-performance tires.
The cabin of the STO utilizes an abundance of carbon fiber, including sport seats in full carbon fiber with embroidered STO badges, carbon fiber trim, a carbon fiber driver’s side instrument panel, carbon fiber air vent housings, deleted carpeting replaced by floor mats in carbon fiber, and fully carbon fiber lightweight door panels with a red fabric pulls. Alcantara spans the seats, dashboard, steering wheel and headliner, accented by optional red contrast stitching. Amenities include an 8.4” central touchscreen display that controls media, climate settings, and navigation, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, Lamborghini Telemetry, automatic climate control, and a specialized storage compartment under the front clamshell for storing a racing helmet.
The Huracan STO is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 rated at 640 HP and 417 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a rear limited-slip differential, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in around 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 197 MPH. Performance features include a Magneride 2.0 adaptive suspension, rear-wheel steering, 6-piston carbon ceramic brakes in the front and 4-pistons out back, and an active exhaust system. The seller reports a pre-purchase inspection was completed upon acquisition.
