A Super Series Longtail variant of McLaren's premier 720S supercar, the lightweight 765LT is based upon the carbon-fiber MonoCell II monocoque chassis with downforce-enhancing bodywork, carbon-ceramic brakes, forged alloy wheels, thinner windows, and a titanium exhaust system. Said to be one of 765 produced worldwide, this 2021 example was purchased new from McLaren Chicago and finished in Nardo Orange over a Black/Dove Grey Alcantara interior. It was also optioned with carbon fiber super-lightweight racing seats, 360-degree Park Assist, and a carbon fiber front license plate mount. Showing under 2k miles from new, this 2021 Mclaren 765LT is now being offered by its seller out of Illinois.
The exterior was ordered in the optional "Elite" color of Nardo Orange with a contrasting gloss black roof. Equipment includes full-LED front headlamps, twin-hinge dihedral doors, carbon fiber hood intakes, front fender louvers, rear fender intakes, and mirror caps in addition to a gloss black front splitter, side skirts, and finned rear diffuser. Other details include painted Nardo Orange brake calipers with silver McLaren logos, an optional carbon fiber front license plate mount derived from the McLaren Senna, quad exhaust tips, and an extended active rear wing. The 19”/20” forged 10-spoke lightweight wheels are finished in Stealth with laser-etched 765LT insignias and Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R performance tires. The full exterior has received an application of clear paint protection film and ceramic coating.
The interior features optional super-lightweight carbon-fiber racing seats upholstered in Black and Dove Grey Alcantara with adjustability for the passenger and a power-adjustable steering column for the driver. Black Alcantara covers the dashboard, center console, and door panels with Dove Grey accents and contrast stitching throughout. Amenities include a front suspension lift system, front and rear parking sensors with the optional 360-degree Park Assist, dual automatic climate control, a 12-speaker audio system, machined solid aluminum switches, Folding Driver Display, and an 8” portrait screen infotainment system with Bluetooth and satellite radio.
The 765LT is powered by an all-aluminum 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8, with twin-scroll turbochargers and dry-sump lubrication, rated at 755 HP and 590 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 2.1 seconds and a top speed of 205 MPH. Performance features include carbon-ceramic brakes, a quad-exit titanium LT exhaust system, 4 powertrain modes, 3 transmission modes, ProActive Chassis Control with hydraulic roll control and active dampening, launch control, variable drift control, and dynamic traction control. The seller reports a full service was completed in April of 2022 by McLaren of Chicago.
