Now available for auction is this 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 finished in Black over a Black Exclusive Nappa leather interior. Based on Mercedes’ GLS-class SUV, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 combines Mercedes technology, AMG performance, and Maybach luxury in a package fitting for the most discerning drivers. At an original sticker price of nearly $170k, this 2021 example features several additional options including a trailer hitch, folding picnic tables in the rear, and 23” multi-spoke forged wheels.  One of the most luxurious and technologically advanced SUVs on the market, this Maybach GLS is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Florida with just under 2k miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in Black (040U) this GLS 600 has reportedly been garage-kept, washed regularly, and driven sparingly since new.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The exterior features many Maybach-specific details including a chrome vertical pinstripe grille with Maybach lettering at the top center, a chrome mesh lower grille, chrome window trim, chrome door handles, chrome b-pillar trim, Maybach emblems on the d-pillars, chrome roof rails, and a chrome rear diffuser. The side sill panels house automatically extending illuminated running boards constructed from high-gloss aluminum.  An embossed Maybach logo appears at the rear of both running boards, as well as projecting Maybach logos from the doors that illuminate the ground alongside the vehicle. The interior of this Maybach GLS 600 is upholstered in Black Nappa Exclusive Leather with Natural Grain Grey Oak wood trim and a Black Nappa leather headliner. While a standard GLS has three-row seating, the Maybach version offers two rows to accommodate extended legroom for rear occupants.  The multicontour powered rear seats feature heating, ventilation, and six massage functions including a “hot stone” treatment. The right rear seat includes rear-cabin controls for the front passenger seat, where a “limousine setting” offers more legroom by moving the front seat forward and tilting its seatback. The rear seats can recline up to 43 degrees without reducing legroom.  Passengers in the rear also enjoy heated and cooled cupholders, heated armrests, and dual 11.6-inch displays with wireless headphones. Optional folding tables for the rear seats have also been selected which are stowed away in the center console when not in use.

The two multicontour front seats also feature 12-way powered active functionality with heating, cooling, and massage settings, and include heated and cooled cupholders and armrests as well. The dashboard houses dual 12.3-inch LED displays, one used as a digital instrument cluster, and the other to display media controlled from either the steering wheel, console touchpad, rear console, or voice commands. Other standard equipment includes a 27-speaker Burmester 3D Surround Sound System, keyless entry with soft-close doors and a power liftgate, panoramic roof, 4-zone climate control system, Air Balance cabin-air purification system with a Maybach-specific fragrance, additional sound insulation, windows laminated in an acoustic and heat-absorbing film, Mercedes MBUX user interface with navigation and Apple Carplay, 64-color LED ambient lighting, and seven USB ports throughout the cabin. Driver aids include a surround-view camera system with active parking assist, a head-up display, DISTRONIC cruise control, Level 2 semi-autonomous driver-assist, and active steering, braking, lane changing, and blind-spot assists.

The GLS 600 is powered by a hand-built twin-turbocharged V8 engine rated at 558 HP and 538 lb.-ft of torque, assisted by a 48-volt hybrid system that sends power to all 4 wheels through Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the GLS 600 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in under 5 seconds. Mercedes E-Active Body Control manages the standard air suspension and minimizes body roll and road impacts. A selectable Maybach luxury drive mode flattens the accelerator curve, starting in second gear and reducing gearshifts, and uses the E-Active Body control to subtly shift the SUV's rest point toward the rear seat, reducing vibration for passengers.
