Now up for auction is this 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black interior upholstered in leather and Race-Tex with deviated Silver stitching. One of the most highly acclaimed sports cars on the market, the 2021 Cayman GT4 is quicker than ever with its newly available 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This particular example came optioned with a host of practical features and amenities including heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, Apple CarPlay, the Bose Surround Sound System, and Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). Dealer-maintained and with a clean two-owner history on CARFAX, this GT4 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina while showing just over 3k miles on the odometer.
This 718 was ordered in GT Silver Metallic along with Exclusive Bi-Xenon headlights in black and silver-painted wheels. The GT4 makes use of high-performance aerodynamics including a specialized front fascia with a lower spoiler lip, air intake side blades, a large rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing. The car has been regularly detailed and only two small chips are noted on the front hood. The seller adds that the car has seen four days of track use under their ownership with the full front end protected under tape during each outing. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory 20” GT4 alloy wheels come dressed in Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 tires with approximately 75% tread remaining.
Inside, this Cayman sports a black leather and Race-Tex upholstered cabin accented by Silver deviated stitching and Anthracite Brushed Aluminum trim. Optional features include heated Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way), a fire extinguisher, luggage net in the passenger footwell, the Bose Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay, the Chrono Package, and an Exclusive fuel cap with aluminum-look finish.
The latest GT4 features a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine with direct fuel injection, integrated dry-sump lubrication, adaptive cylinder control, and a variable intake manifold. Revving up to an 8k-RPM redline, as much as 414 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission providing a 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of nearly 190 MPH. Standard performance features of the GT4 include a sport exhaust system, an adaptive GT Sport Suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), dynamic transmission mounts, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) including a rear differential lock. As shown on CARFAX, all scheduled service has been completed by Wilmington Porsche of North Carolina.

It’ll all subjective… but. GT Silver is my favorite Porsche color. Yes I like silver in general but this shade is spectacular. Very classic Porsche.

@heybluez I have been. A 911 owner since 1992, with 2-4 wheel 911’s, GTS’s and just took delivery of my third GT-3 . The GT-4 is the more balanced car and plenty of grunt, loved it . Just worried about what looks like next 718 will be electric ? no substitute for a PORSCHE!

@jallgood1225 yes two owners , both waiting for > $200,000 cars . Both garage kept , and while I had car I even covered it at work , and rarely was it ever caught in rain.
@SG1001 I will pay loan off , NC will clear payoff and mail title, that takes about 3-4 weeks to be “in hand”

How are you proposing to handle the lien? Option 1 - You pay off, get a clear title, and then transfer concurrent with funds paid.
Option 2. have buyer pay off lien directly (assuming it’s less than auction value), title gets cleared, and then transferred.
Or, some other option?
Option 1 probably most straightforward for buyer, but will likely take some time. Not sure how long NC titles take to issue.

@SG1001 reference light , it had gotten some condensation in and I have ordered a replacement.
@SG1001 will get one , I actually did not overrev, also the 4 days on track were mostly demo rides with green level drivers. I never take a student at a pace greater then one level above, I also did two demos with blue drivers, so Porsche HPDE white level pace . Keep in mind I bought the car as a hold over after selling my 18 GT-3 and waiting delivery of my 992 GT-3, thanks for the questions.
This might just be the picture lighting, but is the passenger side turn indicator a euro clear one? If so, why was it replaced? drivers side and passenger side look quite different.
Again - assume it is just the lighting, but had to ask.
Should be ok as a PDK and as an experienced on-track driver, but just to be sure- you mentioned having an over-rev report? If so, can you post? Thanks-

@Z.06 brakes are in excellent shape , no cracks from drilled rotors, previous owner never tracked. He bought it because his 992 Turbo order was delayed. It had 1,000 miles when I bought it . I have used as my daily driver . The dunlaps are original, and had about 70% tread. Can have over rev done if you like . I changed oil at 1,000 miles and again after it was tracked. I have always been meticulous about my cars . Owned 911’s since 1984, but actually loved the GT-4. Best balanced car I have ever driven. Thanks
Brake rotors look a little scruffy, presume this is from the track use. Since you have done 4 trackdays in two months of ownership, can you comment on the track use of the car by the original owner who had it for 5 months? Are the Dunlop tires original to the car and please comment on the tread depth left at this point in the tire life. Lastly, is an overrev report available for this car? I want this car, just trying to understand what is being sold.

What are the 2 wires for that are shown laying on the dash? 4 track events plus non-stock software flash??? What software was installed? Any other non-Porsche items installed in this car? Thanks.
