Up for auction is this 2021 Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder finished in Carrara White Metallic over a black leather and Race-Tex interior with silver stitching. Based on the platform of the Cayman GT4, the 718 Boxster Spyder offers a visceral open-air driving experience with a powerful naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This 2021 example was ordered with LED headlights, the Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, and Apple CarPlay as well as several options from Porsche’s Exclusive Department including seatbelts in Silver Grey, brake calipers in high gloss black, and wheels painted in Satin Platinum. This nicely configured 718 Spyder is now being offered for auction with just over 3k miles showing on the odometer by its seller out of Missouri.
This Spyder is finished in Carrara White Metallic and distinguishes itself from a standard 718 Boxster with an aggressive GT4-derived front fascia, rear diffuser, ducktail rear spoiler, and double-hump fairings over the rear section. The seller notes that clear paint protection film has been applied over the front hood, side rocker panels, and behind the rear wheels. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Clear Euro-style side marker lenses have been added and the car came optioned with Exclusive gloss-black brake calipers as well as 20” GT4 wheels painted in Satin Platinum. These wheels remain encased in their original Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Inside, this 718 is appointed with a black leather and Race-Tex interior featuring deviated silver stitching and painted trim along with Exclusive seatbelts in Silver Grey. Other optional features include heated front seats, 2-zone automatic climate control, the Light Design Package, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay incl. Siri, auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. The original painted center console has been swapped in favor of a leather-trimmed piece, and GT4-style black inserts have been added to the steering wheel.
The 718 Spyder derives as much as 414 HP from a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine shared with the Cayman GT4. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels, allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. The Spyder also offers the same brakes and suspension as the GT3 model including RS-spec adaptive dampers and ABS programming. CARFAX shows the last documented service to have been carried out in March of 2021 by Aristocrat Motor Co. (Porsche Kansas City).

Not to be outdone but I am 6’6” 235 and have driven my friends car. Plenty of room for me and an incredible experience coming from a 997. It is so well balanced and screams when asked to perform. GLWTS

The car is more roomy than I expected; I took delivery a year ago and am 6'-1" and have wide shoulder as well (I have the comfort seats not the buckets). In a proper driving position, I have the seat two clicks from the maximum. Further surprise to me is that with the top up at cruising speed of 70+mph with the exhaust valves closed is how quiet it runs. The exhaust valves open the sound is really quiet good for a street car. I did install a Cargraphic performance valve control unit to assure the valves stay open at low revs. For some unknown reason, possibly European sound regulations, the exhaust valves are programmed by Porsche to stay closed at low revs, which was not optimal (even with the sound button activated). The Cargraphic control (or equivalent) unit is the easy solution before going to an aftermarket exhaust, which is easy to install as well. GLWS this is a great machine and maybe, the last of a dying breed of performance Spyders with a 6-speed.

@Delmenhorst I'm 6'3 235 w/broad shoulders and I am very comfortable in the car. I drove it to the location that we shoot the pictures at and it was great! Think you would be pleasantly surprised how roomy it is.
Wondering if there is any more legroom in the Spyder you’re selling than in my 986 Boxster S. 6’4” 210 lbf I would love to upgrade but nervous about the amount of legroom?
