Now available for auction is this 2021 Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black and Bordeaux Red leather interior. Based on the platform of the Cayman GT4, the 718 Boxster Spyder offers a visceral open-air driving experience with a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine. This 2021 example comes factory equipped with the Spyder Classic Interior Package, high-gloss black door handles, Satin Black painted wheels, and a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.  Sold new at Rusnak Porsche of California, this 718 Spyder was acquired by the seller in April of 2021 and is now being offered for auction out of Texas with approximately 1k miles showing on the odometer.

This 718 Spyder is finished in traditional GT Silver Metallic (M7Z) with a retractable red soft top. Characteristic details of the 718 Spyder include a revised GT4 front bumper with larger air intakes and a black front splitter, a ducktail rear spoiler, an aggressive rear diffuser, and double-hump fairings over the rear section. The car has been garage kept and carefully maintained from new. One small imperfection is noted in the clear paint protection film on the front bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  Optional details include door handles in high-gloss black, power-folding mirrors, LED headlights, and Satin Black-painted 20” Cayman GT4 wheels which are currently dressed in Nankang CR-1 Extreme Performance 200tw summer tires.  The original set of Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires is also said to accompany the sale.

Inside, this 718 highlights the Spyder Classic Interior Package which trims the cabin in a special combination of Bordeaux Red leather and Black Alcantara with Spyder logos embroidered in the headrests. Bordeaux Red leather spans across the dashboard, the tops of the door panels, the center console, roll hoops, and seat bolsters, while black Alcantara covers the seat centers, lower door panels, inner door handles, lower dashboard, and center console lid. Driver’s amenities include heated front seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, power-folding mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, the Bose Surround Sound System, and a high-resolution 7” touchscreen PCM display with Apple CarPlay.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine generating up to 414 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque, the 718 Spyder can reach 60 miles per hour in as little as 3.8 seconds with a claimed top speed of 187 MPH. The rear wheels are driven through a quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The Spyder borrows the front suspension setup from the 911 GT3 including brakes with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The adaptive dampers, ABS system, and stability-control programming are carried over from the GT3 RS. The Spyder comes standard with a sport exhaust system, shortened gear lever, lowered PASM suspension, the Chrono Package, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with mechanically locking rear differential.  There are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time and the car remains backed by the remainder of its factory warranty.
