Now up for auction is this 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 finished in Aventurine Green Metallic over a black and Chalk leather/Race-Tex interior. One of the most highly anticipated Porsche models offered in recent years, the new 718 GTS carries a naturally aspirated 4.0L engine derived from the GT4 and features the Sport Exhaust System, PASM Sport Suspension, and the Sport Chrono Package as standard. Equipped with a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission as well as 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, this nicely optioned 2021 example is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Illinois with just over 500 miles showing on the odometer.
This GTS is finished in Aventurine Green Metallic, an attractive medium green shade originally offered on the 993 series. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This model features a GTS-specific front fascia and Sport Tailpipes as standard, and also includes an optional rear Porsche logo in satin black as well as brake calipers in an Exclusive high-gloss black finish. It rides on factory 20” 718 Sport wheels which are finished in satin black and dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Inside, this example features a black GTS interior with carbon fiber trim, deviated Chalk stitching, leather, and Race-Tex upholstery. Optional details include a tachometer dial in Chalk, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with the Memory Package, and the Premium Package which includes LED headlights with PDLS+, the Bose Surround Sound System, Porsche Entry & Drive, Lane Change Assist (LCA), a heated multifunction steering wheel, the Light Design Package, power-folding exterior mirrors, and a storage net in the passenger footwell.
The new 718 GTS carries a GT4-derived naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine that produces up to 394 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.3 seconds and a top speed of over 180 MPH. Standard equipment for the GTS also includes the Sport Exhaust System, PASM Sport Suspension, and the Sport Chrono Package. A four-wheel alignment and maintenance inspection were carried out earlier in 2021 by Motor Werks Porsche of Barrington IL.

So I just sold my 2021 Aventurine Green Targa4S manual with 500 miles on it back to my Porsche dealer because it just drives too much bigger than i thought it would (Should have bought a Cayman GTS or GT4 so now I intend to). The color is simply amazing in person. Pics dont do it justice.
@AZCollector My car was built 9/20 for 2021 model year My car was not effected by this recall Porsche has issued a stop sale on all vehicle affected the dealers were not allowed to sale to customers . please look at previous not from three day ago I covered this.

The recall and stop sale comes due to a risk of cracked connecting rods that could lead to catastrophic engine failure. Impacted models include the 2021 Cayman GT4, 718 Spyder, Cayman GTS 4.0, and Boxster GTS 4.0. Cars covered in the recall may need engines replaced to remedy the issue

Yesterday I did FaceTime with the owner of this Cayman. He did a complete walk around including cold start and showing the interior. You’ve heard people say that a car is better than new. THIS car is NEW. He is a fanatical enthusiast, his attention to detail and also adding Xpel to the most vulnerable areas of the car to insure that it stays perfect. To all bidders My local Porsche dealer wanted this car back in stock because they have no inventory customers are waiting to purchase 6 speed manual but I gave my word to PCarMarket as long as this meets reserve it will go. there 6 days 5hours left to this commitment Its being sold
my last car I sold here was 2019 PTS Irish green 911 S with 515 miles purchase at the same dealer they informed me yesterday their upset I did not give them first right of refusal I informed them I gave my word and I have to wait 6 days and 5 hours. but from what they told me yesterday I no know my reserve is to low .
I know the build sheet says Race-Tex but those seats sure look like Alcantara.
I recently attended a PCNA driving event in Monticello N.Y. There was a 2021 Porsche Turbo on display in this color...this green is an knockout in person....

The photos can't do the color justice. I believe Averturine Green actually precedes the 993 Porsches and was offered on the 968 & 964 starting in '92 or '93. Anyway, great color combo for this GTS Cayman.
@eshaile This recall that you speak about those not affect this Vin base on when this car was built the problem occurred in the 2021 built cars this car was manufactured 9/2020 for 2021 model year Thanks for bringing this up to all potential bidders .I appreciate it we all need to be informed of all correct information.

I had ordered a 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0 late last year for delivery this past March. It was build, shipped and arrived in New Hampshire port. The same day my dealer notified me that Porsche put a “do not sell” restriction on my car, with no explanation. After several discussions with PCNA, I was told about the engine rod issue. I was told by my dealer that it affected about 170 vehicles: the Cayman GTS 4.0 and the Boxster Spyder. I was further advised that these were the cars that were equipped with PDK and Sport Chrono. Also that Porsche was still assessing what specific cars were affected. I was extremely disappointed that Porsche did not catch this issue during production and correct it at the factory. I have been a loyal Porsche owner since 1976 and have owned several Porsches. It would be good for the seller to clarify the status of his beautiful Cayman. It’s very possible that this Cayman build date preceded the rod issue and is NOT affected.

Potential bidders should be aware of the recall for faulty connecting rods that Porsche has issued for 718s with the 4.0 L engine. It will entail installation of a new engine, unless that has already been done and not mentioned in the auction listing...

To all I am the current owner of this beautiful Porsche .I will be sorry to see it go specially at the beginning of the driving season I am in the process of moving many precious personal item are being sold and unfortunately this is one of them my house is next .I want be able to replace her. Porsche only made two cars in this color for the Cayman GTS 4.0 for 2021 model year one in PDK and my vehicle in 6 speed manual . Also this car has XPel Ultimate on the front of the car and the quarter panels and behind the rear tire around the windshield this product has a 10 year warranty and transferable to the new owner.
