1k-Mile 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor

The Raptor is the high-performance version of Ford’s F-150 pickup, equipped with a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 generating 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque, a Prerunner-style off-road suspension, an on-the-fly selectable four-wheel drive system, selectable driving modes, and a 5.5-foot bed with a 1,400-pound payload rating. This 2022 example was ordered in Antimatter Blue Metallic over a black leather interior and was optioned with the Equipment Group 801A, a power moonroof, a power tailgate, the Pro Power Onboard generator system, the Raptor Carbon Fiber Package, forged aluminum wheels, and a spray-in bed liner, resulting in an original sticker price of around $82k. Showing under 2k miles on the odometer and remaining under the coverage of its 3-year / 36k mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year / 60k mile powertrain warranties, this 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor is now being offered at auction by its seller out of California.

The exterior is finished in Antimatter Blue Metallic (HX) and features a model-specific front and rear bumpers, a Raptor grille with Ford lettering, a Ford tailgate applique, black cast aluminum running boards, automatic LED headlights with LED high-beams, integrated fog lights, LED mirror-mounted spotlights, a hood with air extractors, vented front fenders, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and heavy-duty skid plates. The optional Moonroof & Tailgate Package equips a power tailgate with a step and work surface, and a dual-panel power moonroof. The Tow Technology Package provides a 360-degree camera, Trailer Reverse Guidance, a trailer brake controller, a Smart Trailer tow connector, and a Class IV hitch receiver. The 5.5-foot bed has received a factory Tough Bed spray-in bed liner for added protection. The 17” forged aluminum wheels are mounted with 35” BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.

The interior is upholstered in black leather and features power-adjustable heated and cooled front seats, full power accessories, power-adjustable pedals, a Raptor-specific center stack, a 12” touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Ford SYNC 4,  Raptor-branded floormats, and automatic dual climate control. The Raptor Carbon Fiber Package has been selected, which equips carbon fiber trim on the shift knob, door panels, dashboard, and media bin. The optional Equipment Group 801A provides an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen Unleashed audio system, a wireless charging pad, an interior work surface, rain-sensing wipers, the forwarding sensing system, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and a power telescoping steering column. The optional Pro Power Onboard system adds a 2-kilowatt generator that can run an assortment of accessories. Driver’s assists include adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning and blind-spot monitoring that can cover the length of a trailer.

The Raptor is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 with an output of 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque, sent to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, front Torsen differential, rear locking differential, and a dual-range transfer case. The third generation Raptor has received an upgraded five-link rear suspension with more travel and longer trailing arms, and is equipped with Fox Live Valve shocks, which can adjust dampening on the fly automatically. The Raptor features seven different terrain modes: Slippery, Tow/Haul, Sport, Normal, Off-Road, Baja and Rock Crawl. Each of these adjusts the Raptor's stability control, shocks, throttle mapping, shift points, and steering feel. The Raptor has 12 inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of 31 degrees, a breakover angle of 22.7 degrees, and a departure angle of 23.9 degrees, making it extremely capable off-road.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s books, and the original window sticker.

Took the Raptor over to Home Depot today. Parked with all the other trucks in the pro parking area. I had 4-5 guys immediately come over and talk about how sick the truck was. It’s amazing the reputation these trucks have garnered over the years. Everyone seems to love the Antimatter Blue

@Addicted2cars owned 2, own one right now, and my next truck will be... another one. hold their value like a rock, a blast to drive, amazing suspension. Head turner, but also not too much attention to where it gets old. I describe them as a side by side for the streets. Will not regret owning one. the suspension will adapt within a microsecond to the exact terrain the vehicle recognizes its over.

@Addicted2cars I’ve had a Gen 2 and now the Gen 3. Ride quality is excellent with the live valve shocks. Plus the ability to change the dampening with drive modes is a game changer. The new rear suspension setup on the Gen 3 has proven to be quite good even on bumpy roads. It’s definitely a comfortable ride. Hope that helps

Good morning. So I have a question for anybody who has owned a Raptor. I have been an F-150 owner for 20+ years and I currently have an F-150 Limited 4x4 but have owned Platinums, King Ranch, etc. I am now considering a Raptor. My question is what is the ride quality of the Raptor? To say the roads in my area suck is an understatement so I am wondering if this vehicle has a super firm or soft suspension. I have heard mixed reviews and would love some feedback.
