Designed with an emphasis on performance and driver engagement, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1 features a 5.0-liter V8 engine as well as a 3.73 Torsen limited-slip differential, special chassis tuning, electronic line-lock, launch control, Brembo brakes, and the MagneRide damping system. This example was custom-ordered by the seller in Shadow Black over an Ebony interior with leather-trimmed Recaro seats and a rear seat delete. It was also optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, red brake calipers, and the Mach 1 Handling Package. After its initial 1k miles break-in period, the car was brought to the specialists Fathouse Performance where a full bolt-on upgrade package was installed including a performance JLT air intake, headers, a Shelby GT500 exhaust, a Flex Fuel tune, catch cans, and an upgraded coolant reservoir. Said to produce up to 530 HP at the crank, this modified Mustang Mach 1 is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Indiana while showing approximately 4,300 miles on the odometer.

This Mustang is finished in Shadow Black with satin Ebony and red-accented Mach 1 stripes on the hood and sides. Optional red brake calipers are equipped as well as the Mach 1 Handling Package which adds a lower front splitter and a performance rear spoiler with a removable gurney flap. Other equipment includes LED headlamps and taillights, sequential turn signals, Mach 1-specific lower fascias, satin mirror covers, and pony projection lamps. The car rides on a set of aftermarket satin black 19”x11” Steeda Trident wheels that were wrapped in 315/30/R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires installed at 1,000 miles which remain in like-new condition. Additionally, 1" front wheel spacers were added for clearance as per Steeda's recommendation, and the wheels & brake calipers have been ceramic coated. The seller adds that the tires remain in very good condition and the car’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has been synced to work with the aftermarket wheels. This Mustang is said to have also been garage-kept and regularly hand-washed. Furthermore, Rahal Paint Protection in Indianapolis applied a full ceramic coating, clear paint protection film on the satin mirror covers, and 20% window tints. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this Mach 1 features an Ebony interior with optional leather-trimmed Recaro sport seats and a rear seat delete. Other options include front seat heating and cooling, Premier Trim, and premium floor mats with accent stitching. The car also features a 12” LCD digital instrument cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, sill plates with model logos, smart USB charging ports, a rearview camera, Intelligent Access with pushbutton start, Ford Co-Pilot 360, Fordpass Connect 4G WIFI, and a commemorative Mach 1 badge with an individual chassis number. The seller notes a set of WeatherTech floor liners have been installed and the original carpet mats are included along with an OEM Ford sunshade.

Rated at 470 HP stock, the Mach 1 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 3.72 Torsion limited-slip differential. The car comes standard with Brembo brakes, electronic power-assisted steering, selectable drive modes, the MagneRide damping system, electronic line lock, and launch control. The optional Mach 1 Handling Package adds adjustable strut top mounts and a strut tower brace in the engine bay. After its 1k mile break-in period, this Mustang was brought to Fathouse Performance for an upgrade package including a JLT air intake, an OEM GT500 active cat-back exhaust, Stainless Works 1-7/8” high-flow catted headers that have ceramic heat coated, driver and passenger side oil catch cans, a Fathouse Fabrications coolant tank, and a FlexFuel tune. An oil change was completed at this time using premium Amsoil 5W/50 oil. The seller claims that the car produces up to 530 HP at the crank (470 WHP) using ethanol fuel and 500 HP at the crank (440 WHP) using 93-octane gasoline.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, original carpet floor mats, an OEM sunshade, a clean title (lien), and the Ford Performance Mach 1 owner’s package.

The seller would like you to know: “This car is in excellent condition and has been babied ever since I factory ordered it and picked it up from the dealership. It has never been tracked but is fully prepped for track use should you wish to do so. It has been driven well and spiritedly but never abused. Everything is in excellent condition and I had Fathouse check everything over in preparation for selling it at the last service. The car has been paint-corrected and ceramic coated along with PPF on the mirror caps and 20% tint all around. It has been garage-kept and hand-washed only. The car does have full bolt-ons by Fathouse Performance. They are a very reputable shop and this work does carry a 2-year/12,000 mile warranty from April 2023 at 1000 miles. The car can be run on pump gas or ethanol and currently has a full tank of 93 octane gas due to it being winter. It also still has plenty of the factory warranty left. If you switch fuel content (from 93 to ethanol or any mix in between), please allow 5 minutes of regular driving to adjust the tune. It does it based on the air-fuel ratio. Should you have any issues or wish to change the tune, reach out to Fathouse Performance, and ask for Corbin Johnson. He is a very reputable tuner and will get you taken care of. The car does have factory exhaust valves and it is loud but not unbearable. It has a GT500 exhaust with a resonator, so even though it has headers it is still loud but tame under 5000 RPM. Past that, it does get pretty loud. You can still quiet start it in quiet mode but it is not as quiet as stock. Please feel free to ask any questions and I’ll be happy to answer. I loved this car a lot but have decided to upgrade to the new G80/G82 BMW platform to start a new build. I have a bigger budget to work with and those things are rockets. Best of luck to you bidders and I hope a true enthusiast takes this car home to continue to treat it right or track it. It is absolutely ready for a supercharger or twin-turbo should you want to do that. Also, please note that an emissions inspection may be required, and the ceramic heat coating on the catted headers helps them to stay cool and prevent cracking. Additionally, the cold start video is in quiet mode! I can take it again in normal, sport, or track mode upon request."

@CitySlicker561 Yes. It was replaced by Pearson Ford here in Indiana. Rear defroster works just fine. I’ve used it on fall days. It’s a plug and play from the glass so it’s replaced when they replace the glass.

  • CitySlicker561 (registered bidder) 3 months, 2 weeksago

Assuming dealership (FORD) replaced rear window glass? And defroster functioning fine in back?

  • onaser (seller) 3 months, 2 weeksago

@diamondmotorworks The factory wheels and tires are not included, only what is on the car currently. No accident in history. It did have some transit damage on the way to the dealership which damaged the rear glass. The rear window was replaced prior to me purchasing it.

  • onaser (seller) 3 months, 2 weeksago

@Dozer Yes. Original paint, paint corrected, and ceramic coated.

  • diamondmotorworks (registered bidder) 3 months, 2 weeksago

Are the factory wheels included? The Autocheck has an accident in the history, do you know what happened or what was repaired? Thanks

    Is the paint all original?

Beautiful car. . .needs to be in sunny South FL now, rather than Indiana garaged for the Winter.

@brsherry Meant to add… the exhaust also has the factory valves. So, you can adjust it between quiet, normal, sport, and track exhaust modes. In case you want to adjust how loud it is. The cold start video was done in quiet mode. However, once the car is warmed up, it’s relatively quiet in quiet mode if you want to keep the noise down.

  • onaser (seller) 3 months, 3 weeksago

@brsherry 1. No drone at any speed or when cruising regardless of the exhaust mode. Ford isolates the cabin pretty well from factory and the car has a GT500 exhaust installed so it has a resonator and mufflers.
    2. It depends on the dealership. Technically, they can only deny you warranty if they can prove a mod you installed caused the issue you are trying to get warranty repaired. I have not had any warranty issues so I have not taken it into a dealership. My only caution is to be careful what dealership works on it. You don’t want them to flash the tune back to stock if you have ethanol in the tank. Make sure it’s a reputable dealership and that they understand they are not to flash it under any circumstances. I would personally make them sign off that they would cover repairs if they do if I were you.
    3. You have a few options if you want to change the tune. You can have your local performance shop re-tune it if you want a different tune. Or, if you don’t plan to run flex fuel, you can leave the tune alone as is. It functions as a normal 93 octane tune if you do not have ethanol and drives normally. Obviously it’s a performance tune so throttle response is better and you make more power and the torque curve is smoother. It also revs to 8000 as opposed to 7200. You could also have Corbin Johnson (Fathouse’s tuner) send you a revised e-tune. You’d just have to buy a BAMA/SCT tuner to load the tune on and upload it to the car. It’s entirely up to you but you definitely have the freedom to change it if you want. Corbin can disable the flex fuel part of the tune for you but it wouldn’t change anything regarding how it drives or performs.

3 Questions. (1) How is the exhaust drone on the highway? (2) Regarding the factory warranty, I know that you can usually get away with an exhaust/intake/tune without voiding it, but have you brought it in for any warranty servicing? Do you know if the headers/catch cans/coolant expansion tank have voided it? (3) Lastly, can the flex fuel tune be removed remotely, or would it require in person ECU work at Fathouse or elsewhere. Thanks!

@Moneycop1067 Actually it has just under two years left on the factory warranty. It was purchased in August of 2022. It also has just over a year left on the warranty from Fathouse Performance. That is a parts and labor warranty for the FBO. I did that in March of 2023 and it came with a 2 year/12,000 mile warranty.

  • Moneycop1067 (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

Assume the car has another year left on the factory warranty?

  • onaser (seller) 3 months, 3 weeksago

Hi folks! Let me know if you want any additional pictures or videos and I will do my best to accommodate. I forgot to mention in the listing that this is the premium trim so it has the upgraded leather interior with stitching (much less hard plastic than the base trim) along with the customizable ambient lighting, dual zone climate control, and the upgraded touch screen infotainment (as opposed to the “calculator” on the base) along with better speakers. Almost every option was ticked on this spec. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
