Porsche’s latest Cayman GTS offers a naturally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine connected to a 7-speed PDK transmission and comes standard with PASM Sport Suspension, the Sport Chrono Package, GTS-specific styling, and the Sport Exhaust System. This 2022 example comes finished in Shark Blue over Black/Chalk leather/Race-Tex upholstery as part of the GTS Interior Package. It was also optioned with a 7-speed PDK transmission, brake calipers in High Gloss Black, the Premium Package, Burmester High-End Surround Sound, and more. Showing less than 1k miles on the odometer, this 718 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Illinois.

This GTS comes finished in Shark Blue, a shade introduced for the 2022 model year on Porsche’s Special Color palette. The example can be distinguished as a GTS by its trim-specific SportDesign front and rear fascias, Satin Black rear badging, “GTS 4.0” designations on the doors, and high-gloss black Sport Exhaust tailpipes. Optional details include a rear model designation deletion, a “PORSCHE” logo in Satin Black, and brake calipers in High Gloss Black. Additionally, LED headlights with PDLS+ are included with the optional Premium Package. The 20” 718 Sport wheels are finished in black and wrapped in like-new tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin presents Black/Chalk leather/Race-Tex upholstery as part of the GTS Interior Package. Standard equipment for the GTS includes a GT Sport steering wheel, Sport-style pedals and footrest, and Sport Seats Plus with “GTS” headrest embroideries. Optional details include a tachometer dial in Chalk along with the Premium Package which includes LED headlights with PDLS+, Porsche Entry & Drive, Lane Change Assist (LCA), an upgraded Burmester High-End Surround Sound system, a heated multifunction steering wheel, the Light Design Package, power-folding exterior mirrors, a storage net in the passenger footwell.

A naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine delivers up to 394 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. The GTS comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package and PASM Sport Suspension as well as the Sport Exhaust System, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Porsche Active Drivetrain Mounts (PADM), an enhanced braking system, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The seller adds that a 10k-mile service was performed, and a 20k-mile service is required. This vehicle is accompanied by the manufacturer’s 4-year/50k-mile warranty and 10-year unlimited miles corrosion coverage.

This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner's manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, an air pump, and a car cover.

@newkidintown yes I willing to use this service as long you understand that Porsche Financial has to wired funds to release title and I will need to be wired the difference between payoff and final sale price this is of course if the car meets reserve

  • newkidintown (registered bidder) 1 week, 3 daysago

Seller -- Are you willing to use a service such as KeySavvy to process the sale?

  • WsmataU (registered bidder) 1 week, 3 daysago

@HelpMeHelpU I guess it depends on what you mean by "doing well" at auction. I haven't seen one sell below $90k even at mileage approaching 10k. Sometimes I think the Porsche community got stuck in 2021 pricing.

That isn't to be interpreted as a knock on the 4.0GTS or this specific car. It is a fantastic spec and specimine. But at the end of the day I think it is unrealistic for owners to expect to by and drive a car for years without depreciation (EVEN for a GT car)! The GT4s/Spyders are still selling at or above MSRP.

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 3 daysago

@JonBoy76 if you are flying in to see the car before the auction ends and 18 hours. Contact me privately thu pcarmarket email and I can make the arrangements but it has to be early morning before 12PM

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 3 daysago

@JonBoy76 This is my car i purchased it at Motorwerks Barrington that is were I purchased all my vehicles as far as Ohare is the best airport to fly into I leave 25 miles from Ohare

  • JonBoy76 (registered bidder) 1 week, 3 daysago

What would be the best airport to fly into? I dislike O'Hare. Would anyone at Moter Werks by willing to speak with me about the car? I understand that there are very few miles on it but would like to speak with someone.

  • HelpMeHelpU (registered bidder) 1 week, 4 daysago

@RNAU68 I have one in my driveway, same color and all. :- )

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 4 daysago

@HelpMeHelpU Well I can tell you the word is getting out there because I know a lot of GT4 owners that are trading in there GT4 for this because there wife’s are complaining about the harsh ride this car allows you to turn a knob and solve that issue and since the engine is identical and I have driven both cars I Evan had a GT4 on order and purchased this car instead.Porsche claims the horsepower is less but when you drive both cars the power is identical

    the comfort mode

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 4 daysago

@20109972 Don’t worry a manual version of this car will appear at some point

  • 20109972 (registered bidder) 1 week, 5 daysago

@jazzyg72 I had also got excited to be disappointed. Looked like a description was reused off a different source likely the issue.

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 5 daysago

@20109972 the. Part about this being a manual has been fixed

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 5 daysago

@RNAU68 it’s been fixed as of now

  • RNAU68 (seller) 1 week, 5 daysago

@jazzyg72 I will talk to them about it

  • jazzyg72 (registered bidder) 1 week, 5 daysago

I am really surprised that @pcarmarket hasn’t yet edited that first paragraph to clarify this is really a PDK car not 6 MT.

  • HelpMeHelpU (registered bidder) 1 week, 5 daysago

To me, these are amongst the most fun-to-drive Porsches. It's a sweet spot with just the right amount of power to have plenty of fun on the streets without going to jail (though that's possible, too, of course).

I don't understand why the 718 CGTS 4.0s don't seem to do very well on auction sites. Any insights are welcome.

@Niche I actually don’t have undercarriage pictures I don’t have access to a lift and this car is very low to the ground from the factory because of the sport suspension and it is hard to take pictures with a lift

  • Niche 2 weeksago

Hi there, do you have undercarriage pictures?

Amazed nobody has bid on the beautiful car!! Wish it was within my meager budget

  • evanlon92 (registered bidder) 2 weeks, 2 daysago

@RNAU68 I’m sure you are and sorry to hear of the circumstances outside your control forcing the sale. I’m not a buyer of electric cars either and not sure I will be. I’m just starting out in a career so I feel like there are so many ICE cars I lusted over as a kid that I now need to experience. GLWTA!

  • RNAU68 (seller) 2 weeks, 2 daysago

@evanlon92 I am very saddened about letting her go this is the last year made at the same factory with its big brother the 911. The 23,24 model year have been moved to a different factory now and preparing for full electrification and I am not a buyer of electric cars .

  • evanlon92 (registered bidder) 2 weeks, 2 daysago

  • 20109972 (registered bidder) 2 weeks, 2 daysago

Awesome 6 speed manual , 7 speed PDK. Must be 1 of 1…..

  • RNAU68 (seller) 2 weeks, 2 daysago

circumstances beyond my conrol are making me part with this beauty. It is the most balanced and best performanced focused Porsche I've ever owned. It is a pure driver's car with all the fun that comes with that but can also be tame if you do not want to push it . A real beauty.
