Celebrating the launch of the open-top variant of Maserati’s flagship MC20 super sports car, the Maserati MC20 Cielo PimaSerie Edition is limited to only 65 examples in total. It evokes the “Neptunian” theme of Maserati’s iconic trident badge with special Acquamarina three-layer paint, iridescent Matte White Gold wheels, a painted trident badge on the tonneau cover, and an Ice Alcantara and leather interior with a specially made seat backing and Acquamarina stitching. The one-owner example offered here was also optioned with the Interior and Exterior Carbon Fiber Packages as well as an E-LSD electronic differential. Delivered new by Rick Case Maserati, this limited-edition MC20 Cielo is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 1k miles showing on the odometer.
The MC20’s bodywork was wind tunnel-developed in coordination with motorsport engineering firm Dallara and incorporates an aggressive front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser for aerodynamics. The Cielo PrimaSerie version is finished in Acquamarina tri-coat paint complemented by Matte White Gold trim, a painted trident emblem on the tonneau cover, black brake calipers, and 20″ PrimaSerie wheels in an iridescent Matte White Gold finish. The optional Exterior Carbon Fiber Package adds dark exhaust tips along with a carbon fiber hood, front splitter, rear diffuser, and sill inserts. Other features include a power-folding electrochromic glass roof panel, dihedral doors, full LED lighting, and parking sensors. The seller notes that the car remains in like new condition while completely preserved under a layer of clear paint protection film. Inside, the cabin of the PrimaSerie Edition is upholstered in Ice leather and Alcantara with Acquamarina stitching and trident headrest embroideries as well as a special multicolor seat backing. The Interior Carbon Fiber Package includes a carbon fiber instrument cluster cap, column-mounted paddle shifters, and door sills. Other features include heated and power-adjustable front seats, an electric steering column, a frameless digital rearview mirror, an aluminum footrest, remote start, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a full digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker Sonus Faber sound system, and a 10.25” touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Maserati’s Nettuno 90° V6 is a 3.0-liter engine equipped with twin turbochargers and a dry-sump lubrication system. Up to 621 HP and 538 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This example was optioned with an electronic limited-slip differential (E-LSD) and can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds with a claimed top speed of over 200 MPH. Standard performance features include launch control, a drive mode selector, and a double wishbone sport suspension with active dampers. The seller notes that a service was performed by the original selling dealer in July 2023 and the remainder of the factory warranty is in effect.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a toolkit, a car cover, a battery charger, two keys, and a clean title.
