Blurring the boundary between sports car and race car, the latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS uses a high-revving 4.0-liter engine complemented by extensive track-focused technology from Porsche’s motorsports department. This launch-year example is finished in White over a Black leather and Race-Tex interior with GT Silver stitching along with the optional Weissach Package which was added at a cost of over $33k. The car also features the Front Axle Lift System, lightweight forged magnesium wheels, LED-Matrix Design headlights, the BOSE Surround Sound System, and 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats in addition to several other premium factory options. The ultimate road-going Porsche 911, this 2023 GT3 RS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California while showing under 200 miles on the odometer.

In comparison with a standard GT3, the latest RS version is based upon a central front radiator concept borrowed from the Le Mans class-winning 911 RSR race car. Air is directed from the radiator in the nose through large vents on the front lid and dispersed outwards by fins on the roof. The front end includes continuously adjustable wing elements that work in conjunction with an active two-part rear wing drag reduction system (DRS) and fixed side blades to optimize aerodynamics. The GT3 RS also features lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the doors, front fenders, roof, and bonnet. This 992 is finished in White with the deletion of “GT3 RS” logo side decals and features the Weissach Package which adds an exposed carbon fiber finish to the trunk lid, roof, upper mirror housings, rear wing, and window triangle trim. The package also equips 20”/21” GT3 RS forged lightweight magnesium wheels painted in Satin Neodyme with “RS” logo center locks. Other options include brake calipers in high-gloss black, LED-Matrix Design headlights in Black, and Exclusive Design taillights. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The interior is trimmed in Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery with matte carbon fiber inlays and deviated stitching in GT Silver. The optional Weissach Package adds embroidered logos on the headrests and passenger side dashboard along with door handles in matte carbon fiber, an upper gearshift panel in Race-Tex, and PDK shift paddles in magnesium with magnetic technology. This car was also optioned with 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, illuminated door sill guards in matte carbon fiber, Ambient Lighting, BOSE Surround Sound System, ParkAssist (rear), Front Axle Lift System, and extended-range fuel tank, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine produces up to 525 HP and 342 lb.-ft of torque. A short-ratio 7-speed PDK transmission sends power to the rear wheels through a variable differential, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3 seconds. The chassis includes a specially tuned adjustable suspension with Normal, Sport, and Track driving modes as well as rear-axle steering, 6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed front brake calipers with 408mm discs, and 4-piston rear calipers with 380mm discs. The balance of the original factory warranty remains in effect.

This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, and a clean title (lien).

Side Note: If this was a 2024 it would be about 10% higher MSRP due to the price increase

What is the MSRP on the car?

  • exclusivemotorcars (seller) 10 months, 3 weeksago

@etondropout I appreciate the question. The car was leased brand new by our long time customer from a Porsche Dealer in Ohio. At that time all necessary tax and registration was paid. The car is now here with us in Los Angeles where our customer resides. The car is ready and able to be sold today. We can fully guarantee there are no additional taxes or pre payment penalties that will be due at the time of the lease payoff. Thank you.

May I ask if you could provide a little insight into the history of this car? From what I understand, there seems to be two brokers and two Porsche dealers in different states (CA and OH) involved in the flipping of this car within a short 30 day period. My concern is whether or not the seller can guarantee all federal and state taxes have been paid among all parties involved in the flipping of this car so quickly. Also, can it be guaranteed that Porsche will not add any lease penalties to the title for early termination? If PCNA is the lessor, can they refuse the sell the vehicle? Thank you in advance…

We just wanted to thank everyone for all of the kind comments and bids thus far. We are very excited to help this beautiful GT3RS find its next owner. We are standing by for any last minute questions. Good luck to all bidders!

The 992 Sport Classic is overrated IMO, I’d rather fork up the cash for the 3RS. This beast looks wicked

  • porschedriver958 (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

This market is evolving rapidly. These RS cars may be the last hold outs

  • ansonurpants (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

the RS or the sport classic may be the cars to get for the 992 generation

  • ptgltw (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

Big day today. I think the first 992 3 RS auctioned off in the USA?

  • Rod27 (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

@Trez63 and it’s been listed for a couple weeks with no takers. It’s a great spec though.

  • Trez63 (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

@CJWRacing33 There's one locally for sale here in SoCal for $629k lol, which is absurd. I would think this goes to high 4s or low 5s but the rarity is not going to last forever.

I turned down an early 992 3RS allocation at $150k over not knowing how things would shake out in the open market. Fun to watch this unfold.

  • Rod27 (registered bidder) 10 months, 3 weeksago

Of course the first cars will fetch a premium ….No doubt

@ARC944 If someone's going to drive it (not just flip it or garage queen it) then these seats are good (if heavy.) I have the buckets (in a GT3, not an RS) and they're single purpose (yet too much headrest passing, pushing the helmet forward) precious little adjustment of the seating position … probably excellent for a fit 5'10 race driver on track with harnesses. : )

  • tinhombre 10 months, 4 weeksago

Saw two at a dealership, both already sold (of course!), only reason they were on the premises was that there apparently is a tech issue with the DRS, not going to release 'em to their owners until resolved... the markup on one was 200K, the other with a sticker of 297K had a markup of 250K

Do I want one? Do I need one? Could I drive one with worrying about where I could take it or park it?
Yes! No, hmmm, yeah no. Probably not!

An absolutely breath taking and beautiful piece of automotive engineering/art. Can’t wait to see what the price of admission is!
