Ineos Automotive, a subsidiary of the British chemical company Ineos Group, was founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe with inspiration drawn from the classic Land Rover Defender. Introduced for the 2024 model year, the Grenadier is designed to be a rugged off-road vehicle with a focus on simplicity, durability, and performance. The flagship of the model range, the Fieldmaster offers 18” alloy wheels, safari-style windows, an access ladder, heated front seats, the Smooth Pack, and more as standard equipment. Finished in Magic Mushroom over Black leather upholstery, this Grenadier features optional front & rear locking differentials and national flag plaques. A modern interpretation of a revered classic, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee with approximately 300 miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Magic Mushroom contrasted with black accents. As a Fieldmaster Edition, it also equips safari-style windows, a rear access ladder, bump trips, locking wheel nuts, a spare wheel cover, and 18” multi-spoke alloy wheels in satin grey as standard. Additional options include BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires as part of the Rough Pack, and national flag plaques along the front fender vents. Also, an optional Class III 2” NAS tow hitch is said to accompany the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The aircraft-inspired cabin features Black Nappa leather upholstery, overhead and center console-mounted controls, and Recaro seats. As a Fieldmaster Edition, standard equipment includes a Premium Sound System, a center-mounted compass with an altimeter, and carpet floor mats. The Smooth Pack is also included, which adds a rear-view camera, Park Assist Front (PDC), power & heated exterior mirrors, heated windshield washer jets, lockable central stowage box, puddle lamps, ambient door lighting, auxiliary charge points, and an advanced anti-theft alarm & immobilizer.
Beneath the bonnet lies a BMW 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine which sends 282 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with manual overdrive. The optional Rough Pack adds front & rear locking differentials, while standard equipment includes a coil-spring suspension, solid axles, a dual-range transfer case, and a lockable center differential.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a window sticker.

Nice looking vehicle. I've been doing my best to research but they do such a nice job of protecting dealers and the current buying process you can't really find much other than 'the why story' online. Any idea where this falls in the auto insurance market? Is it similar to a Land Rover, BMW , or exotic? I was thinking about bidding but my f'n insurance agents office is closed this week and the call-in line (Allstate) has no idea what this is? Supposed to get a call back, hope for one before the bid ends.
Also, normal servicing in a market that isn't near a dealer (southern Ohio) .... where would you/ could you take it?

I know RDS Ineos in Malvern PA has new trucks available, as many people who ordered these are flaking at delivery. I have logged a couple hundred miles on one and they are all that they are cracked up to be.

1. Yes, it has been titled. The winning bidder will be the 2nd owner.
2. There is no restriction of ownership transfer. Warranty stays with the vehicle.
3. Yes, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included.
4. Carfax does not have data to report at this time as this Grenadier was just delivered new.
1. Has this vehicle been titled....will the winning bidder be considered the 1st or 2nd owner ?
2. Is there any restriction to transferring the manufacturer's factory warranty during the first 12 months as some cars have ?
3. Does it have Apple Carplay ?
4. I realize the car is basically "new" but please post the Carfax report.
@daviswilliam80 Thank you! Yes, the rear seats are equipped with latch anchors along with tether anchors on the seat backs.

Drove the Grenadier. Fabulous hunk of absolute quality! Tracks on the interstate like a Porsche. Arrow straight. Zero squeaks. No rattles. Comfortable +++ seats. Awesome visibility. Rack and pinion steering surprises some younger people who have no idea what it is.
This is the real deal. Not a Bronco. Not a Jeep. Schedule your safari!

I was afraid of this too. But it’s not! It’s very quick. Wasn’t sure if I could pass cars fast enough. No problem at all. You won’t be disappointed.
@Rocketman This is the car that companies that are fully customizing, retrofitting, and refurbishing Defender 110s are essentially trying to build.
This truly is the modern Defender. The Grenadier is arguably more capable, certainly more comfortable, leak free (from the glass to the spectacular BMW inline 6) and complete with many of the modern necessities, all while keeping that look, feel, and ruggedness of the original.
The build quality on these is top notch. This is first noticeable just looking at the paint quality, the solid door hinges, the perfectly even body gaps - it doesn't look like this was built by a new car manufacturer. That's because it’s been designed in partnership with Magna Steyr and built in Hambach France in an old Mercedes Benz factory. It's clear a lot of research, time, and effort went into these trucks and I think they knocked it out of the park - these are sure to be a hit whether its being used for its intended purpose or just cruising the carpool line. And yes, it has plenty of power.
I am not familiar with this vehicle but an SUV with 282 HP seems to be underpowered. Would appreciate comments from current owners and the seller. Thanks

@bhmohio. The original window sticker wasn't with the Grenadier when it arrived. The dealer must have removed when prepped and failed to include when it was shipped. In lieu of the original sticker, I have uploaded the build sheet provided by Grenadier. It is accurate and has a bit more info than the original window sticker.

@JBHC Thanks for your comment. Yes, Ineos knocked it out of the park with the Grenadier. They are fantastic vehicles. I just can’t say enough about the build quality. It just feels great to be in, even better driving. Perfect blend of German / British engineering. The controls are reminiscent of vintage aircraft for a nice touch, too!
