Offering the ultimate open-air driving experience in Porsche’s model range, the 718 Spyder RS combines an iconic roadster design with the high-performance underpinnings of the GT4 RS. This 2025 example wears XPEL Stealth matte paint protection film over Black paint and features a Black leather and Race-Tex interior with Carmine Red stitching. It comes equipped with the optional Weissach Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Front Axle Lift System, LED headlights with PDLS, BOSE Surround sound system, auto-dimming mirrors, the Light Design Package, Chrono Package, a partially exposed carbon fiber trunk lid, illuminated carbon fiber door sills, Race-Tex sun visors, a steering column casing in leather, Carmine Red seatbelts, and more. Also equipped with an upgraded Soul Performance exhaust, this 718 Spyder RS is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania, showing approximately 800 miles on the odometer.
The Spyder RS shares its aggressive front fascia, vented carbon fiber hood, louvered front fenders, side scoops, and rear diffuser with the GT4 RS. It features a ducktail spoiler and a unique double-hump rear deck that conceals a lightweight folding soft top. This example is finished in Black, overlaid by a layer of XPEL Stealth matte paint protection film. The optional Weissach Package adds an exposed carbon fiber finish to the front trunk lid, side air intakes, mirrors, Gurney flap, and safety bar covers, along with a Weissach logo on the soft top and 935-style titanium tailpipes. Other options include deviated accents on the soft top, LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), a partially painted exposed carbon fiber trunk lid, red “Spyder RS” door logos, auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and ceramic brake calipers in high-gloss black. The car rides on 20” 718 Cayman GT4 RS forged aluminum wheels in dark silver. Clear side marker lenses have been installed, and the rear reflectors have been tinted. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report indicating that the windshield was replaced in January 2025.
Appointed with Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery, deviated Carmine Red stitching, and matte carbon fiber trim, the cabin features Full Bucket Seats with deviated centers and optional Carmine Red seatbelts. The Weissach Package adds embroidered logos to the headrests, a badge on the dashboard trim, and Race-Tex upholstery for the upper dashboard. Other options include a steering wheel and gear selector in black leather, a leather-wrapped steering column casing, sun visors in Race-Tex, a center console lid in Race-Tex with an embossed Porsche crest, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, a Chrono Package dial in Guards Red, the Light Design Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, Voice Control, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell.
Rated at 493 HP and 331 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine is mated to a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and a Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) mechanically locking differential. The Spyder RS comes with PASM Sport Suspension, and this example is equipped with optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and the Front Axle Lift System. It has also been modified with Soul Performance over-axle exhaust pipes and a rear exhaust line. The balance of the factory warranty is in effect.

I am a collector/ enthusiast/ former licensed dealer (retired) and recent RS buyer. One of those guys who at the introduction could have gotten an allotment for an RS Spyder or GT 4 RS, had I wanted to pay a premium. I declined and carefully followed the market for two + years. In April ‘25 I purchased a 1,400 mile highly optioned PTS 2023 GT4 RS at one percent below the original MSRP. It is a keeper for me for 10 years at least. I bought and sold collector and performance cars for 25 years. IMO if you can buy a reasonably low mile 718 GT4 RS or Spyder RS at anywhere close to original MSRP at this point it’s going to be the best opportunity you will have. Wait another year as someone suggested and you may be very disappointed. This car is out of production. Porsche may offer the Cayman with an internal combustion engine in the future, but it won’t be this naturally aspirated flat six that everybody wants. Destined to be a classic.

Porsche allowed their volume costumers to buy multiple cars in front of buyers who actually wanted to buy for themselves. Buyers did not get car and the volume customers flipped them . People have caught on. Wait a year and take the depreciation.

can someone help me understand why these are at dealers and pp sale at <1000 miles all the time? I know last year was a hype year and prices were inflated by $50K+ over sticker, what's going on in this market now?
