Available for auction is a truly one-off piece of Porsche's advertising history. This sign was originally hanging and displayed inside a European Porsche dealership and was never made available to the public. The sign depicts a beautiful scene of a 911 cabriolet with a full moon in the distance.

The sign measures roughly 14 feet wide and 4 feet tall and is assembled in 4 individual panels. Each panel has holes to allow for the sign to be suspended. The sign is made from very strong signage material of its day. Truly nostalgic, immensely rare, and very captivating. Don't miss your opportunity to own a rare piece of Porsche dealership advertising from the 80s. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

@twin-grille-roadster Good evening, the estimated shipping cost with UPS is $276.98. This includes full insurance and is on a 7 day delivery service (although based on experience I would allow for 10 days).

    Kind regards

@twin-grille-roadster Good morning, thank you for getting in touch.

I am going to try and get an accurate price for the shipping today for you. I am certainly willing to ship the sign world wide with UPS.

    Kind regards

What is the delivered cost to the US?
    Thank you.

@Billythemountain Thank you for the detailed reply, I sincerely appreciate it. I am getting an education today for sure! Many thanks

And it's not a 930 because it's not a Turbo, lacking massive rear wing and wider fenders. Nonetheless it is a great pic of, imho, the best vintage Porsche ever made.

G bodies are 1974-1989 911s, easily distinguished from earlier F bodies by their 'accordian' impact bumpers. Also, the model in the display is properly European since it has side reflectors (seen just below gas filler door).

@Billythemountain It sure is! I placed it up against our old Saab wagon for perspective and it’s almost hiding the car. I had my Homer Simpson moment earlier when I was informed it was not a 964. Can I ask, what is a G-Body 911? Thank you

  • Billythemountain (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

This is almost life-size, I have a blue '89 cab and it's 14 ft long bumper to bumper.

The description has been corrected. Thank you.

  • TheBen (registered bidder) 1 year, 9 monthsago

    @vo152 it's a regular G-body 911 Cab...

  • vo152 (seller) 1 year, 9 monthsago

@dsdepew Oh dear! It’s a 930 isn’t it. Thank you for pointing that out and I do apologise for the error. I will ask PCarmarket if they can change it. Thank you

  • dsdepew (registered bidder) 1 year, 9 monthsago

    Doesn't look like a 964 to me.....
