Available for auction is a Castrol Motor Oil sign collection of varied vintages. The sale includes; a 6’ x 2’ 1990’s era illuminated Castrol Oil sign, a 4’ x 4’ 1980's era illuminated Castrol GTX sign, and a 6’ x 3’ circa 1967 Castrol Oil race banner.

The 6’ x 2’ 1990’s era illuminated Castrol oil sign is constructed of a sturdy metal surround with a translucent plastic green, white and red face showcasing the Castrol logo and script. The sign is illuminated and updated to LED lighting powered by a 110v circuitry. This authentic sign was produced by Dualite, a well-known lighting design and dealership marketing company who has been around since 1947.

The 4’ x 4’ Castrol GTX sign is also constructed of a sturdy metal frame and backing with the iconic Castrol GTX logo molded from white, red, green, and black plastic. The seller states the sign is fully functional and is powered by a 110v circuitry. Castrol GTX was originally launched in the late 1960’s as a premium more durable oil alternative and became one of the preferred oils used in automotive, aviation and marine applications.

Also included, is this original 1967 Castrol Oil “The Masterpiece in Oils" vinyl race banner. The banner measures 6’ x 3’ and includes hanging grommets on all four corners. The seller states the banner is in excellent shape, however, there are a total of three wind slits, which were orignally in place to prevent high winds from ripping the banner when displayed outside. One of the wind slits can be seen just below the letter A (please see gallery).

The seller states that both large signs and the banner are all in excellent condition with only very slight patina, considering their ages. Don’t miss your opportunity to own a collection of varied vintage authentic signage and advertising from one of the world’s most well-known oil brands. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and transactional fees.
