Up for auction is this 2018 991.2 Carrera GTS finished in crowd-favorite Chalk over black leather with Alcantara inserts. New for the 991 generation, the GTS sits between the Carrera S and the more track focused GT3 to offer drivers a more useable high-performance experience. This GTS was purposefully spec’d to be light and includes driver focused options including a 7-speed manual transmission, front-axle lift system, and adaptive sport seats. Purchased new from Porsche of Salt Lake City, this one-owner example is now being offered in exceptional condition by the seller in Sausalito, CA with fewer than 7k miles on the odometer.
The highly coveted Chalk exterior is a throwback to iconic colors like Pearl and Heron Grey that were popular on Porsche models of the 1950s and early 1960s. Meticulously maintained since new, the finish of this GTS is reported to be in showroom condition. A liberal application of Paint Protection Film was applied to the front bumper, hood, mirrors, and rockers to preserve the beautiful exterior finish. The aesthetic is completed by a Sport Design front spoiler and side mirrors, subtle black GTS insignia, and factory 20” black center-lock wheels that come wrapped in new Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Inside, you know this GTS is something special. The exquisite black leather and Alcantara interior is in exceptional condition. Power comes from an exhilarating 3.0 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that produces 450 HP at 6,500 RPM and 405 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 RPM. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a precise 7-speed manual transmission which allows for lower gear ratios and increased acceleration. This GTS rockets from 0-60 in under 4.0 seconds and continues onto a top speed of 193MPH. Despite barely being out of the break in period, this GTS is reported to be up to date on all regularly scheduled maintenance and has recently been serviced with new fluids and filters.
