Available for auction is a mixed-media piece titled "Ferrari Enzo" by artist DCart. The painting measures 40” x 28” and has been professionally mounted in a handmade silver wooden frame. A combination of real carbon fiber, paint, and a high-end clear varnish was utilized to create an incredible three-dimensional Enzo Ferrari speeding away from the viewer.
The Pininfarina-designed Ferrari Enzo Ferrari super sports car was limited to just 399 examples and sold to hand-picked clientele. Because of the complex production, less than one model was manufactured per day. In particular, the production of doors and chassis, which were made from plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. The 6-liter V-12 engine of the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari delivers an enormous 660 hp. The same engine was also used in the Maserati M12. A special model of the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari is the FXX with 800 hp which is not approved for road traffic in Germany. In March 2005, the Italian sports car manufacturer gave away the 400th vehicle to Pope John Paul II. His successor Benedict 16 had the car auctioned in July 2005 and donated the proceeds to the tsunami survivors. The sale of the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari brought in 1,055,000 euros.
