Numbers matching, well documented, and well maintained are a few reasons this 1972 911 S is so special. Believed to be just one of six Emerald Green examples ever produced, this 911 will undoubtedly spark interest from discerning collectors around the world. The car was sold new in Italy, where it remained until the late 1980s. It was then transported to the US and now resides in Stow, Massachusetts with the current owner of over 15 years.

The extremely rare Emerald (Kelly) green, also known as Viper Green is stated to be in excellent condition. This car received a professional respray in its original color just 5 years ago. The car still retains its original body panels and its original 15x7 fuchs wheels, equipped with brand new Yokohama Avid H4S tires. As the photo gallery shows, the vehicles undercarriage is in above average condition with no signs of rust.

The interior is stated to be in excellent condition and features reupholstered black leatherette, original headliner in excellent condition, fully functioning gauges, upgraded Alpine radio, new OEM carpeting, and a new tachometer. All electronics are stated to be in working order.

Power comes from the original, numbers matching 6-cylinder 190HP engine that is connected to a 915 5-speed manual transaxle. This car still retains its original heat exchangers and mufflers, proving that the car was very well cared for.

The following maintenance items have been recently addressed:

  • Valves were adjusted a year ago (500 miles)
  • New clutch installed a year ago (500 miles)
  • New alternator
  • Rebuilt starter motor
  • New brakes and brake lines
  • New battery
  • New weather stripping

This sale will include the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, factory tool kit, owner’s manual and halogen fog lights.

This is an opportunity to own a rare, numbers matching 911 with an extremely desirable color combination.
