Up for auction is this classic 1975 Porsche 911S with sunroof delete. This rare 911 has been under the care of its current owner in New York for the past 12 years. During this time, the car underwent a full engine rebuild and received a completely refurbished interior, bringing it to the high-level driver you see today.

This 911 still retains its original light yellow paint on the doors, rear fenders, and roof. All other panels seemed to have been repainted at some point, showing a slight miss match in color. Overall, the vehicles exterior is in great driver-grade condition with only few areas of patina and slight rust near the front headlights and doors. Please view the photo gallery for a true display of this vehicle's exterior condition. This specific model is equipped with factory pop-out rear quarter windows and sunroof delete, making it one of the more desirable and rare examples on today’s market. Installed are a set of beautiful fuch-style chrome wheels that are wrapped in a new set of Continental tires.

The elegant natural tan interior is stated to be in exceptional condition. Having been fully refurbished by a well-known shop based out of Sea Cliff, NY, all work was performed to a very high standard with no corners cut. Holding you in place are a set of freshly wrapped vinyl seats that are paired with a fully restored dash. All carpeting has been refinished and all components are in working order including the upgraded head unit. The seller notes that an upgraded A/C unit was previously installed but has since been removed.

Power comes from a rebuilt 2.7L flat-six engine that delivers power to the rear wheels via a manual transmission. About 7 years ago, the car received a complete engine out rebuild by Werks 1 performance at a total cost of approximately $20k. The car is stated to be in excellent running condition and has only been driven 2,500 miles since the build. All service is stated to be up to date, ensuring a seamless driving experience for the next owner.

The sale will include books, keys, and receipts of work performed. Don’t miss your opportunity to own a great driving and rare 911S.

Have and have been around Porsche my whole life. From 74 and up . every Porsche 911 came without a sunroof unless you order it and paid for it.

@Antiqueguy sunroof delete is a wonderful thing, don’t know if you are new to Porsche’s or just not “in the know” but you can google online that it is very rare to find a g body 911 or newer with no sunroof. Is there a crime in someone putting a reserve?

Why do people say sunroof delete like it’s a good thing. It’s just because the original owner was to cheap to pay for it. There is nothing rare about about this car. And why is there a reserve

To the seller, looks like a nice car, what can you share in regards to the front panels on the car?
