We are pleased to offer this exceptional 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo for auction.  Equipped with the legendary GT1-derived Mezger engine, this Turbo remains one of the more desirable water-cooled 911’s to date.  Finished in eye-catching Speed Yellow, this Turbo is being offered in great driving condition with only 53k miles on the odometer by the selling dealer in New Orleans.

The iconic Speed Yellow paint on this car looks fantastic.  Bearing only minor paint chips and a small knick on the front right fender, this Turbo truly stands in great condition.  Some paintwork has been reported in the front, however, the rest of this Turbo remains entirely original as stated by the seller.  This 996 rides on its OEM 18” Turbo Twist wheels that are wrapped in Sumitomo tires.  These factory wheels preserve the overall look of the car and remain in great condition, showing no curb rash or imperfections.  Complete with distinctive Turbo bodywork and a variable rear spoiler, this superb 996 is sure to turn heads.

Inside, this Turbo sports a lush black full-supple leather interior complete with heated seats.  Bearing no major flaws or imperfections, this fully original interior remains in excellent condition.  This 996’s $119,800 build sheet includes aluminum instrument dials as well as leather/aluminum shifter and brake handle.

Originally developed for the 911 GT1 Le Mans car, the Mezger engine is regarded by many Porsche experts as the ultimate water-cooled engine.  Featuring a true dry sump and crank driven oil pumps, this engine resists oil surge during aggressive cornering.  Furthermore, this GT1 derived engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication.

This 996’s Mezger engine delivers 420hp to all four wheels via a crisp 6-speed manual transmission, making for a blistering 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds.  The car drives beautifully and is free of any issues according to the seller.

Carfax notes an incident involving repair to the front end, however, this damage is stated to have been purely aesthetic and limited to the front bumper cover and hood; this Turbo has otherwise been kept in excellent and highly original condition.  Included in the sale of this superb 996 are all original books as well as two sets of keys. This stunning car drives beautifully and is ready to be enjoyed.  Do not miss this opportunity to own one of the most sought after and respected water cooled 911’s on the road.
