2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo "970 Mansory Edition"

Up for auction is this 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo “970 Mansory Edition”. Mansory is known as one of the world's most respected luxury customization companies. The example you see here is one of only a handful of Porsche Panameras to receive the Mansory upgrade, making it an extremely rare vehicle. This Panamera Turbo was sold new at Park Place Porsche in Dallas, TX and eventually made its way to Indiana where it resides with its current owner. This show stopping car has only 34,000 miles on the odometer and is being offered in excellent condition.

This Panamera received approximately $75k in Mansory upgrades. The package includes a genuine carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit including full carbon fiber hood, side skirts, outside rear mirrors, side quarter panel inserts, full spoiler, rear bumper plate and exhaust surrounding components. The package also includes 22’’ Mansory edition wheels that are wearing new Pirelli tires all around. Upon purchase, the owner had all carbon fiber areas re-finished in gloss. The work was professionally done by Graham Rahal Performance in Indiana.

The desirable Basalt Black paint is stated to be in exceptional condition. The seller states that a small, piece of vinyl on the lower part of the front lip spoiler is missing but can easily be replaced. Also noted is one small hairline crack on the front grill.

The interior of this Panamera has been left completely untouched, leaving it in original, showroom condition. The full Cognac natural leather is contrasted perfectly by Tineo wood trim. With an original MSRP of over $150k before upgrades, this Panamera is loaded with factory options including: power heated/cooled seats, navigation, back up camera, front and rear park assist, Sport Chrono package, Burmester high end sound system, power sunshades, Bi-Xenon headlights and more. A full list of options is included in the photo gallery.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a twin-turbocharged 4.8L 8-cylinder engine that produces a whopping 500HP. Also included in the Mansory package is a full custom center mounted exhaust that is perfectly matched with the vehicles aggressive look. The seller notes that a brand new set of Mansory brakes and vents were installed. The following items were replaced under the current owners care:

  • Front under tray
  • Oil pan
  • Oil pan gasket
  • Front fender liners
  • Rear bumper support beam
  • Brake switch
  • All fluids

The sale will include the original window sticker, Carfax report, all books, and 1 key.

The Carfax shows no accidents although damage was reported.

@adrock71 That sucks they should not being able to decide that. Since when did they become the car report people, they are an online auction site. I would have been pissed but damage is much better than accident

    @adrock71 Thanks

@Jgoldi23 front spoiler is wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl because these areas are notorious for getting scratched because the car is lower with the kit on it. It's the only piece that is "wrapped" and I prefer it that way. If this piece was carbon fiber it would be difficult to continue to replace it.

@Jgoldi23 when I purchased the car I went through the insurance company through Ebay because the car was in need of a lot of attention that was going to cost me a lot of money. I think they reported it but I have no knowledge of any accident or body damage at all. We put a ton of money into the gloss finish on all carbon fiber and it looks great. We put new crash beams in back and sorted out the car . It was in the shop for a month and came out great.

@Gt3suds ...no paint protection film on the car. The carbon fiber has been shined to a gloss. Used to be a flat black and it was not looking good.

  • Jgoldi23 1 month, 2 weeksago

@adrock71 Can you explain why the damage report is even there? Obviously it's not an accident which I'm sure we have all experienced the nightmare of selling a car with an accident but damage? I have never even really heard of that on a report. Seems like something so minor why would they even put it on there? I know reports are becoming more detailed as far as accidents go, so that if you have one that is not bad it show's the severity of it, and doesn't ruin the value like a real accident does.

@adrock71 Yea after I looked at it and compared it to the rest of the carbon and the lines were way smaller than I knew the rest was real carbon. Did you add the wrap? It looks like it would look fine just removing it completely. I was able to see how small it was and that it seemed like it would look good if removed completely since it’s such an obscure area. Or should it be wrapped carbon, Or a gloss black instead of just leaving what’s under the wrap. Or is it a material that should be wrapped rather than left bare?

  • adrock71 (seller) 1 month, 2 weeksago

@Jgoldi23 ...all the kit is carbon fiber except the single wrapped small bumper piece under the front bumper. The rwb porsches do the same thing because the car is pretty low when in the lowered or sport position. The wrapping can be replaced instead of replacing the entire carbon fiber piece. Occasionally it will get a small scrape underneath when going into a low driveway. Everything else in the car kit is entirely made of carbon fiber

So I am a little confused about the vinyl missing, isn't the front spoiler made of carbon fiber? I thought that it was carbon fiber in this kit? If not, are the rest of the areas actual carbon fiber or are some wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl?
    Thanks
