Up for auction is a 2008 Boxster S Limited Edition. This is a very special car that is sure to spark the interest of Porsche enthusiasts everywhere.  This particular car has been driven only 8,700 miles since new and could possibly be the nicest example available.  The GT3-RS-spec orange paint is in like new condition and the Alcantara black interior shows like it was just delivered new from the Porsche showroom. 

There have been only 2 owners since being delivered new from The Collection in Miami, Fl.  The second owner drove the car sparingly and stored it in a climate-controlled garage when not in use.

A 3.4L 295 HP 6 cl engine powers the rear wheels and is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

MotorTrend – “What's different over the standard Boxsters? The most obvious change is the 911 GT3 RS-spec orange paint with black painted mirrors, wheels, front and side intakes, but the other changes are more than skin deep. A sports exhaust system has been fitted along with a SportDesign package, including a revised front spoiler, a redesigned automatic rear spoiler, and a new rear valance with integrated diffuser.

Inside, a Limited-Edition plaque is found on the glove box, while the seat inserts, 911 GT3-spec steering wheel, and handbrake lever all receive Alcantara wrapping. Orange roll-over hoops, door lever surrounds, shift knob, and cup-holder cover trim match the exterior color and offset the otherwise black interior.

Only 500 Limited Edition Boxster models will be made available and they are scheduled to hit showrooms on September 28. Porschephiles are a dedicated lot, so we'd suggest that you run, not walk, down to your local Porsche dealer if you'd like to have a shot at obtaining one."

The car comes with the original books, tools and keys.
