Are these still available and would you ship to MO?
@Carlosg911 Hi Carlos, they will fit a 996 Turbo. The setup is the same with my 997.1 C-4.
Would they fit a 996 turbo. I currently run a similar set up with 19s. I’m not sure off the offsets?
Do you know if the wheels/tires would fit a standard 997? Or, are they too wide. Thank you.
Offer in the amount of $1,300
Offer in the amount of $1,200
What color are the lips? Hard to tell in the video. Thanks
PS. I just looked at some of our previous communication and I see that you advised that your wheels are in fact black
Unfortunately I don’t really want black wheels on my Porsche
Gunmetal gray is as dark as I want to go or anthracite
I hope they sell for you
Hello seller, I appreciate the follow up regarding your Wheels.
Actually no I haven’t had time or the funds to deal with Wheels. recently, I may or may not have mentioned that I have been trying to get the Porsche registered which took some time and effort to get it back to stock from the modified exhaust and engine tune
Registration, taxes and fees cost me more than $4000 so, quite a hit
Regarding your Wheels. specifically.
They look good in the pictures and they also look sort of a gunmetal gray which I believe we discussed previously
However, if those are your specific wheels on that red 997 they look very black much darker than they look in the pictures of just the wheels and tires alone
Can you clarify please
Steve
@sportscarguy3 Just following up with you to see if you ordered your set of wheels. I still my wheels available.
Offer in the amount of $1,000
Hi seller, are these wheels still available?
BTW I also spoke with the supplier, in LA this morning and he is going to put pricing together for the same wheels in " Gun Metal Gray " a color I believe will look really good on the car.
No rush for me as I am heading to Laguna next weekend for the races
I appreciate your communication
S
Hello again,
Ok.. whatever you believe is best.
Once you determine whether a test try on could work ( w/Pcar ) we can discuss / negotiate prices etc.
If agreed I will come over to test fit a wheel
S.
@sportscarguy3 The tires are practically brand new and have maybe 2500 miles on them if that. Not sure if PCAR would allow a test fitment as another person wanted to come by and purchase another vehicle I had listed. The potential buyer was admonished. When I purchased my C4, it had the original Turbo wheels on them. The wheels I have are a direct fit so I know these would fit and look incredible on your car. The wheels are in fact black with no blemishes whatsoever and the tires were manufactured in 2020 (Michelin Pilot Sports). Let's find out if PCAR would allow a local pick up for the purchase and if so, we can make arrangements for the pick up.
And one final thought
If it wouldn’t be too inconvenient for you perhaps we could discuss a time that I could actually drive my Porsche over there and put one of the wheels on to see how it looks
Not sure if that’s something you’d be willing to consider
PS. Also just scroll through the pictures and it looks like the tread is almost new on the Michelin pilot sports would you agree
Also my Porsche is seal gray and I was looking for a darker wheel I wasn’t going to go black but just something darker in the gray gunmetal gray that said your wheels are pretty much black are they not?
Oh I just looked again and you’re in Contra Costa County, perfect I could just drive my work truck over there and pick them up
Steve
@EQM thanks for the prompt reply seller
So you’re suggesting that these wheels would bolt right on just remove my factory turbo twists and put these right on?
Sounds good, I’ll take a closer look at the pictures
Forgive me if you have mentioned but how old are the Michelin pilot sports and would you say they are like new, medium to half life or less
Thanks
Oh by the way I’ll have to look at your location I am in Northern California, Santa Rosa
I wonder what shipping cost would be my zip is 95407
@sportscarguy3 Hi, the bolt pattern is the same as your Turbo, 5X130. Here are the specs of the wheels:
Front: 8.5" x 19" ET56
235/35ZR19
Rear: 11" x 19" ET51
305/30ZR19
Being that my C4 is a wide body like your turbo, this would fit without any problem. Hope this helps!
Hello seller,
I recently purchased a 2003 Porsche 996 twin turbo and was wondering if you thought these wheels might fit my car
Also where I might go to determine if they would or would not
Finally, do you have the specifics such as bolt pattern offsets etc. etc. that I would need to confirm whether they might work on my car
Thank you, Steve
I bought your Porshe from the winning bidder! Just saw this and was doing a double take. Great car...
Interested parties, feel free to contact me to make me a reasonable offer.
Bid in the amount of $750
Hello to all! Up for action are a set of Forgestar M14s that are basically brand new with no blemishes at all! The came off of my 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 which you can see in the pics. These set of rims are awesome and would make a great addition to your vehicle! Good luck to all and happy bidding!
