This 1954 Chevrolet C1 Corvette is finished in Pennant Blue over a beige vinyl interior. It is believed to have been previously restored and was acquired by its last owner in May of 2020 who oversaw the installation of a new fuel tank, rebuilt carburetors and transmission, new tires, and more. This eye-catching C1 Corvette is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.

The fiberglass bodywork comes finished in Pennant Blue with mesh headlight guards, chrome trim, removable side glass, a beige soft top, and a set of red-finished steel wheels with chrome covers and American Classic tires from 2020. The seller notes a chip above the passenger side headlight and a few small scratches on the passenger side rear quarter panel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin is upholstered in beige vinyl and includes a two-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring, a push-button AM radio, a floor-mounted shifter, and polished door sills. The seller notes a small tear at the back of the driver's seat and that the analog clock is currently inoperable.

Power comes from a 235ci Blue Flame inline six-cylinder engine capable of producing up to 150 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The seller notes that the engine is dated 1954 and the transmission is correct for the model, but originality is unconfirmed. In 2020, the car is said to have received a major service including a new fuel tank, fuel pump and sending unit, tires, Bilstein shocks, valve cover gaskets, and rebuilt carburetors and transmission. An oil change and differential service were also completed at this time.

This sale will include a clean title.

@coachmule thanks for the question. The undercarriage of this car was not dry ice cleaned. This car had undergone a body off restoration at some point and then sat for a number of years. When the new owner bought it he had a lot of work to do because of that, rebuild the transmission and carbs, new gas tank and sender, new tires, new shocks, tune up, oil change, etc. It's all sorted out now and runs great.

@Firewood thanks for the question. The older cars built before 1963 didn't have a data or trim tag. Pennant Blue was an original option and by what I can see it appears to have been the original color. Most of these are white so it's nice to see a blue or red one now and then. Thanks again!

@Oluke1 thanks for the comment. They're fun cars to cruise around in for sure. I had one last year that the previous owner had driven back to Bowling Green, KY to visit the Corvette Museum and then back again. That would've been an adventure for sure. Thanks again!

Curious was the bottom dry ice cleaned? Thanks beautiful car GLWTA

Nice looking ride. I'm not up on my Corvettes or GM data plates. Is Pennant Blue the orig color of the car? Thanks & glwta.

Undercarriage shots are impressive. Looks like everything is done. Had a chance to drive a 54 and enjoyed the experience. It’s not dissimilar, but felt more nimble than my 1960 (w power glide). Probably due to 6 vs. 8 cylinder engine.

I love my 1960, my wife will sell it after I croak.
