Built upon the chassis of a 1965 Volkswagen, this 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster replica features a custom FiberFab Speedster Californian widebody and 1,835cc crate motor producing up to 100 HP. The car wears a matte silver hammered-effect finish and black leather bucket seats contrasted by a red padded dashboard and boot cover. Driven approximately 10k miles since completion, this one-of-a-kind Speedster widebody is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
The Speedster Californian Widebody exterior is manufactured by Fiberfab and painted in a unique hammered matte silver finish with a red top stripe and boot cover. A custom roll bar has been installed along with Porsche-style badging, headlight covers, leather hood and decklid straps, carbon fiber exhaust finishers, and polished aluminum American Racing wheels mounted with 16” radial tires.
The cockpit is lined with black carpeting and features a pair of matching leather bucket seats, a red padded dashboard, a Nardi three-spoke steering wheel, and a wood instrument panel with a suite of black analog gauges. A Sony Bluetooth stereo is paired with Pioneer speakers in the doors as well as a custom enclosure mounted behind the seats housing the battery, fire extinguisher, and storage space.
Built and documented by GEX International, the air-cooled 1,835cc flat-four crate motor is rated at 100 HP and features dual 40mm carburetors, 92mm pistons, a 200mm flywheel, and polished valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox and B&M shifter. A 12-volt electrical system has been installed along with four-wheel disc brakes. The mileage on the odometer is said to reflect the distance on the rebuilt engine and transmission as well as the fully restored body, interior, suspension, and electrical system. The seller reports a complete tune-up was recently carried out including an oil change as well as carburetor and valve adjustments.

Hello, Due to my upcoming retirement and downsizing, i am selling my beautiful, restored and well sorted out 1957 Porsche 356 Outlaw Widebody Speedster Replica. This car is a blast to drive and gets attention and picture request everywhere we take it. It really looks, sounds and performs as and Outlaw Speedster should.
My Speedster is a driver not a trailer queen so there are some imperfections that come with driving the car and having fun. Please look at all of the information, pictures and videos.
