1963 Porsche 356B 1600 S Cabriolet

We are pleased to present this 1963 Porsche 356B 1600 S Cabriolet finished in Heron Grey over a blue leather interior.  Shown to have been professionally restored to a high standard, this 1963 example highlights a rare factory hard top, Reutter bodywork and a number’s matching 1600 S flat-four engine. Stated to be in excellent running order, this Porsche 356 is now being offered for auction showing approximately 92k miles on the odometer.

This 356 is finished in its factory correct Porsche color of Heron Grey.  The seller notes the exterior finish to be in excellent restored condition (detailed images can be found within the photo gallery).  Factory options include a radio antenna, blue Cabriolet cover and a sought-after attachable hardtop.  This 356 rides on factory wheels which remain in great shape and come dressed in period correct Michelin Radial tires.

The cabin has been painstakingly restored with its factory correct blue leather upholstery.  Noteworthy options include a fire extinguisher and Blaupunkt “Frankfurt” radio with 2 loudspeakers as well as suitcase luggage located under the front bonnet and aft of the rear bench.  The seller has indicated all gauges, electrical components and accessories to be fully functional.

This 356 B is powered by its original air-cooled 1.6 L “1600 S” flat-four engine which is rated at approximately 88 HP and 86 lb.-ft of torque.  The rear wheels are driven via a number’s matching 4-speed manual transmission making for a pure and traditional driving experience.  An in-depth inspection was carried out just a few months ago and the car was found to be in excellent driving condition.  Stated to be up to date on all due maintenance, this 356 B is just waiting to put a smile on the face of its next owner

The sale of this impeccable 356B will include a set of two keys as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.  Graciously restored to its factory specifications, this beautifully configured Porsche 356B Cabriolet is not to be overlooked.

@jschuessler The instrument bezel seals do have some dry rot. We do not have any records from the previous owner. It was part of a collection which was involved in a multi-car trade between our owner and the previous owner.

  • jschuessler 4 months, 3 weeksago

@RosnerMotorsports "The cabin has been painstakingly restored with its factory correct blue leather upholstery." My concern is the instrumentation chrome bezels and rubber seals appear to have significant exposure to the elements. The pitting and dry rot seemed to be underplayed. Do you have documentation of its previous owner(s) and history?

  • RosnerMotorsports (seller) 4 months, 3 weeksago

@jschuessler Sorry your having difficulties with the email option. I’ll contact the admins and try to rectify that. What can I help you with?

  • jschuessler 4 months, 3 weeksago

I tried to use the contact seller link but it seems to give an error message "This field is required" When in fact you have typed a message. Any ideas? Thanks, Jay
