Serving as Chrysler’s flagship upscale luxury model for several decades, the New Yorker was produced from 1940 until 1996 making it the longest-running nameplate of any American car in history. This 1964 example is a Town & Country wagon version finished in Persian White and Red over a Red vinyl interior. The original order sheet indicates the car was factory-equipped with power-assisted brakes and steering, electric windows, air conditioning, an adjustable steering column, headrests, an electric clock, undercoating, an adjustable Deluxe steering wheel, and more. Power comes from a 6.8-liter Firepower V8 paired with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. It was acquired by the current owner in 2022 and upgraded with electronic fuel injection and an electric fuel pump along with an overhaul of the A/C system. This classic luxury station wagon is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
This Chrysler New Yorker is finished in Persian White (WW1) with contrasting red accents along the roofline. Equipment includes optional sill and hood moldings, tinted glass, wheel covers, chrome bumpers, polished dual exhaust outlets, a driver’s side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, and an optional luggage rack with assist handles. Decorative surfboards are mounted to the roof and the car rides on period-correct whitewall tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features a folding third-row seat and is trimmed in Red vinyl with matching carpets. The original order sheet includes option codes for power windows, a heater & air conditioning, Air Foam seats, front headrests, an adjustable Deluxe steering wheel, a safety-padded instrument panel, an electric clock, dual-jet windshield washers, variable speed windshield wipers, undercoating, and a Golden Tone AM radio. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional and states that the mileage shown on the odometer is accurate.
This Chrysler is equipped with a 6.8-liter Wedge V8 that was originally rated at 340 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque with a stock four-barrel carburetor. This example has been fitted with an upgraded electronic fuel injection system and an electric fuel pump for increased performance and reliability. The rear wheels are driven through a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The car was also factory-equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes. The seller indicates the A/C system has been serviced and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

They Fill up both forms there ( EPA-3520 & HS-07 ); pay Uncle Sam ( 2.5% import tax ) and make the RoadTrip of their life back home.

There is no Title in Canada. Just a Certificate of Ownership. California front licence plate doesn’t belong to the car to the Best of my knowledge. Most probably bought at a flea Market somewhere.
