Available for auction is this 1965 Cadillac Sedan DeVille finished in red over a black leather interior. Often regarded as one of the most attractive domestic cars of its era, the third generation DeVille was redesigned for 1965. This example is believed to have been owned in Illinois before it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. It comes equipped with a 7.0L V8 engine mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission and features automatic climate control, power accessories, an AM/FM stereo, and more. Recently treated to new fluids and transmission service, this classic Cadillac Sedan Deville is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
For 1965, the newly redesigned DeVille featured sharply sculpted body lines with vertical head and taillights, a wider front grille, and curved frameless side windows. This example comes finished in red with chrome bumpers and trim, illuminated cornering lights mounted on the front fenders, and 15″ steel wheels with Cadillac crested hubcaps and Dimension IV all-season whitewall tires. The seller notes some bubbling on the C-pillars, detailed images can be found in the gallery.
Occupants are situated within a luxurious black leather interior featuring power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, power windows and door locks, and a push-button AM/FM stereo. The seller notes some leather cracks on the driver's seat and confirms that all instruments and accessories remain functional.
The 7.0L V8 produced up to 340 HP when new and drives the rear wheels by way of a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. The 1965 DeVille also was equipped as standard with power-assisted steering and brakes. The seller notes that the transmission was recently serviced and that the brake fluid, engine oil, and coolant were all replaced.

I miss my old 4-dr hardtop '66 Impala. This Caddy looks like a superb example and would make for quite the cruiser! I hope the p-car crowd here can appreciate the rarity of this car in its condition. GLWA
