Up for auction is this 1967 Cadillac DeVille Convertible finished in Venetian Blue over a white leather interior.  A mainstay in Cadillac’s lineup from 1959-2005, the DeVille full-size luxury car was produced in eight generations with models of the late 1960s regarded as some of the most attractive domestic cars of the era. Formerly part of the renowned Jenkin’s collection, this 1967 example features a striking color combination, a 429ci V8 engine, and factory options including air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and several power-operated accessories. In preparation for sale, this DeVille had been recently serviced with new dash speakers, a refreshed exhaust system, an air conditioning recharge, an oil change, and more.  Accompanied by its original owner's manuals and sales document, this DeVille is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

This DeVille comes finished in Venetian Blue with a white power-operated convertible soft top. For 1967, the DeVille was updated with a new forward-leaning front end, long sculpted body lines, and revised rear fenders with more prominent tailfins. The seller reports the car to have been completely refinished in its original color in 2020.  Some pitting is noted on the chrome rear bumper and the convertible top has been replaced at some point under prior ownership, additional images can be found in the gallery. Factory 15″ steel wheels wear hubcaps with Cadillac center emblems and come dressed in Endurance all-season whitewall tires.

Inside, the driver is greeted by a luxurious white leather interior with a contrasting two-tone blue dashboard and carpeting.  Features include power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, power windows, and a factory push-button radio with a power antenna. For 1967, the DeVille received an anti-glare rearview mirror, an electric clock, a padded dashboard, hazard warning system, outboard seat belt retractors, rear cigarette lighters, and automatic climate controls. The cabin is said to be well preserved with all gauges, lights, and accessories remaining fully functional including the freshly serviced air conditioning system and new dashboard speakers.

Power comes from a 429ci V8 which produced up to 340 HP when new.  This robust 7.0L engine drives the rear wheels by way of a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. The 1967 DeVille received improvements including a revised engine valvetrain, Mylar printed circuit instrument panel, a new engine fan, updated carburetor, and re-tuned body mounts. As standard, all 1967 DeVilles also received a GM-designed energy-absorbing steering column and safety wheel, power-assisted brakes, and power steering. In preparation for sale, this Cadillac received an oil and filter change, a new antenna motor, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new mufflers, a new right-front window motor, and brake adjustments.

This sale will include the original owner's manuals, the original Protect-o-Plate, a spare tire, a jack, and a clean title. Representing the height of American styling and luxury in the late 1960s, this stunning Cadillac DeVille is ready to be enjoyed at parades, car shows, and weekend cruises.
