Manufactured from 1957 to 1975, the Fiat 500 has become celebrated for its compact size and distinctive design. This 1968 Fiat 500L underwent a complete rotisserie restoration throughout 2023 including a mechanical overhaul. Finished in white over a black leatherette interior, this iconic Italian microcar is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 500L was reportedly refinished in white as part of its restoration. Exterior details include front and rear chrome bumper guards, 12” steel wheels, a driver’s side mirror, a louvered rear decklid, and a black fabric sunroof. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been completely restored and reupholstered in black leatherette. Details include a two-spoke steering wheel, manual windows, a 130 km/h speedometer, and a rear bench seat. All gauges and accessories are reported to be working properly.
This 500L is equipped with a rear-mounted 499cc air-cooled inline-twin engine which sends power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller confirms there are currently no outstanding maintenance items.

@wingless - The only service records I would have would be when it was imported and my service department did full inspection. This is a recent restoration so no fluids need service at this time.

My assumption is that the vehicle includes a functioning / complete jack and appropriate lug wrench. If so, please confirm and post images. My Porsche vehicles include a vehicle specific tool kit . It sounds like that doesn't exist w/ this vehicle, correct?

Too bad the spare tire rubber doesn't match the vehicle's four Europe-only Deestone 125-12C tires. What is the vehicle's tire age?
The front trunk images show a jack. Is there a full tool kit included? Pictures please.
What's the deal w/ the rear parcel shelf? Is it unfinished? What is that footman loop w/ strap at that location? Is any original documentation or manuals included?

@WORLD: Love the car. It is possible to get a cold start video? When the Fiat 500 was reintroduced, I had number 146 of the early limited edition of 500 cars….when I was puppy, I bought new a 1968 Fiat 850 (price $1900 out the door).
