This Porsche is said to be delivered new in Southern California optioned with Comfort Equipment package. Having remained under the care of its seller over the past 10 years, this 911S was previously listed on PCARMARKET and is now being offered for auction once again with approximately 33k miles driven since the restoration.

This 1970 example is said to have received a complete disassembly and repaint in Black from its original color of Silver Metallic. The seller describes the finish to remain in very good condition, noting some minor rock chips on the front spoiler and hood. Equipment includes an aluminum decklid with aluminum sill moldings, a front spoiler, pop-out rear quarter windows, front driving lights, twin chrome side mirrors, body-colored bumpers with chrome overriders, gold 911S and Porsche badging, and 16” Fuchs wheels mounted with Yokohama AVS ES100 tires.

The black leatherette interior is equipped with new seats and features a period Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, black/red Coco mats, and a Nardi flat-bottomed steering wheel. Factory options include noise suppression and tinted glass all around.

The original engine has been replaced with a fuel-injected 3.2L flat-six sourced from a 1985 Carrera rated at 207 HP. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 915 5-speed manual gearbox upgraded with a 7:31 ratio ring and pinion. The seller reports all routine maintenance has been addressed and describes the vehicle to be in strong running order.

This sale will include a clean title, a binder documenting the restoration process, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

    Hi seller, do you know if anything has been done to the suspension? Is that the correct ride height for the car? Also does the car come with any spare parts? Thank you.

    @pwest15 Hi, not sure what you talking about but in the Video a sound can sound different than when next to car. Everything runs drives sounds like it should.

  • 7D911S (seller) 1 year, 7 monthsago

    @joebatters Body is all metal, rear is metal wide. From inside the rear quarter flares you can not see anything how or if they did the flares.

    Certainly looks like a well put-together and fun car to drive!

    Forgive me if it's an ignorant question but what is that whistling sound in the startup video? Is is just caused by a small air filter, belt whine, or an old fan bearing or something?

  • joebatters (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

    Have the wheel arches been widened to accommodate the wider than stock rear wheels?
    If so, are they metal flares?
    Thx

    @Syed Hi,
    yes it was and highest bid was 91000.- back then, but reserve was not med at that time.
    NOW reserve is much less...so now is the chance to buy it for less.

  • Syed (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    @7D911S wasn’t this car up for auction earlier this year as well?

  • 7D911S (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    @Syed Hi,
    LOL.... read the advertising !!! Do you know Porsche ? This is a 1985 3.2 L Carrera engine.

  • Syed (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    @7D911S so it’s not original to the car?

  • 7D911S (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    @4ruf the 3.2 L. engine was never rebuild, it is all original.
    The 1985 3.2 L Carrera engine was taken out in 1989 from the original 1985 Carrera. Back then engine had approx. only 20000 miles on it. Twenty thousand !
    This 1970 911 S was finished in 1991 with that Carrera 3.2 L engine that had only 20000 miles on it. The gages were all rebuild in 1991. And showed back then in 1991only o miles.
    Now the odometer reads less than 33000. SO that means the engine has original only 50000 on it. NOT REBUILD !
