We are pleased to present this beautifully executed 1972 Porsche 911 3.2 Outlaw finished in Aubergine over a performance-oriented black interior. Purchased by its current owner approximately 17 years ago, this 1972 example has been outfitted with a number of exterior modifications including welded steel flared fenders, as well as a host of performance upgrades. Boasting an updated 3.2L flat-six engine and 5-speed manual gearbox, this 911 is the perfect choice for an air-cooled enthusiast in search of vintage looks with a visceral driving experience to match.

This 911 has been professionally refinished in its originally specified color of Aubergine. The exterior is shown to be in excellent condition with some minor signs of road going wear, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Noteworthy features include welded steel flared fenders, side mirrors, updated door handles and RS style Carrera livery. This Outlaw rides on a set of 8”-9” Fuchs wheels which come wrapped summer tires, although the seller has offered an alternative set of identical Fuchs wheels with Hoosier tires if the buyer prefers.

Inside, the traditional black interior has been modified with track safety equipment including a welded-in 7pt. roll cage, Schroth safety harnesses and a fire suppression system. Other modifications include a Rennline heel/toe pedal set, a race-inspired aftermarket steering wheel, Recaro racing seats and a radio delete plate. All other gauges, electrical components and accessories remain fully functional including the heating system .

Power comes from an updated air cooled 3.2L flat-six engine sourced from a mid-80’s Carrera. Approximately 207 HP and 192 lb-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels by way of a smooth 915 5-speed manual transmission. Performance modifications include lowered suspension, stripped undercoating, racing brake pads and an upgraded Wevo shifter, while a dual outlet exhaust handles the added power and supplies an aggressive soundtrack. Presented in excellent running order with an up-to-date service history, this Outlaw is stated to be very light, very fast and very fun to drive.

The sale of this exceptional 1972 Outlaw will include a clear title, 17 years worth of service records, and a box containing many spare parts. Whether you’re a passionate 911 enthusiast or a competitive track day fanatic, this Outlaw represents a truly incredible find.

@MagnumHI Did you still have interest in seeing the car soon?

  • Todderte (registered bidder) 4 years, 1 monthago

I drove this car this past weekend. Amazing ride. Handled well and shifting was smooth. Looks great up close and sounds amazing. Unfortunately with a ‘89 and a 2012 already in the garage I don’t have room.

@MagnumHI If you are a serious buyer it is available to be both seen and driven. It will definitely put a smile on your face if what your looking for is a quick cornering, fast, loud, thrill to drive car that will demand all your attention to drive at high speed. Let me know when?
