Beginning life as one of 1,093 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupes strictly exclusive to the European market, this example was extensively refurbished in Germany, combining elements of some of Porsche's most legendary 911s. Paying tribute to the iconic Carrera RS with a distinctive lightweight design combined with a 3.0L engine, this example provides high-performance capabilities and a truly visceral driving experience with an output of over 300 HP. This uniquely modified Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Germany.
The body of this Carrera has been completely disassembled, sandblasted, and refinished in Grand Prix White featuring green-tinted glass, RS extensions in steel, an aluminum trunk lid, a ducktail spoiler, and factory-correct staggered-width 15” Fuchs wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery including photo documentation of the restoration.
The driver is greeted by houndstooth-trimmed bucket seats surrounded by a Heigo Motorsports roll cage. The leather-covered carbon dashboard frames VDO instrumentation behind a MOMO Jackie Ickx Signature Series steering wheel. As depicted in the photo gallery, many components have been stripped from the interior for weight savings.
This Carrera borrows an upgraded 3.0-liter 911 SC engine with various improvements to achieve high-performance standards. Equipment includes a dual ignition fitted with new valve springs and guides, MSD 6AL ignition box with high-performance ignition transformers, Mahle Motorsports Nikasil-plated cylinders and pistons with 10.5:1 compression, flattened cylinder heads, Mod-S camshafts, a Weber 46IDA3c carburetor, and a BBE stainless steel exhaust system. A 915 transmission is fitted with USA Standard Gear wheels, a lightweight flywheel, new synchronizer rings, a Sachs clutch, and a ZF limited-slip differential. An aluminum skid plate protects the sway-a-way torsion bars, adjustable anti-roll bars, Turbo tie-rods, and Bilstein Sport dampers. Stopping power is provided by a dual-circuit pressure control valve and Wilwood 4-piston calipers at the front with CL brake pads. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

Because for the first time it is the classic color of Porsche in motorsport and because the contours and curves are white, especially in the wider versions RS and RSR beautifully presented classically and not too strikingly. And besides, you can take any color for the stickers and racing stickers and don't feel sorry.
@planetaporsche There is no dyno report. But since the engine manufacturer often builds the 3.0 liter engine with exactly these components and each of them has over 300ho it certainly has this power. However, Dynotest can still be submitted later!
Lovely looking car. Please excuse me if I’ve missed a dyno report photo, but if over 300hp is claimed, could we see evidence of this please? Of all the beautiful IROC colors, why choose white? That’s a rhetorical question, BTW. ?

@98Fairwood The gearshift has a shift path shortening from wevo and a spring specially developed for the 915 transmission in the shift block, which makes shifting as fast and pleasant as with the g50 transmission - link and detailed information about this spring follow. The shift knob is handmade from wood as it was with the Porsche 917.
