A final-year example, this 1976 Porsche 914 2.0L comes finished in Nepal Orange and derives power from an upgraded flat-four motor paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It had reportedly been cared for by three owners and was acquired by the seller from a collector in 2019. Having since undergone a full engine rebuild, paint correction, and ceramic coating, this 914 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

This late-model 914 was refinished in the factory-specified Nepal Orange (L20C) color under prior ownership and comes fitted with European-style taillights, black rubber bumpers, vinyl sail panel covers, and a removable black Targa top. Other equipment includes a chrome driver’s side mirror, pop-up headlamps, gold rear PORSCHE lettering, and polished 15” Fuchs four-lug wheels dressed in Nankang tires from 2014. The seller notes the car has been professionally detailed with paint correction and ceramic coating and a few very minor scratches are present as well as touch-ups on the wheel wells. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin is lined with black carpeting and matching vinyl upholstery including basketweave seat and dashboard inserts. A three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel has been installed and the seller states the original steering wheel and headliner are included with the sale. Other accessories include aftermarket speakers and a Blaupunkt head unit.

Power comes from an air-cooled 2.0-liter flat-four engine equipped with dual Weber 40 IDF carburetors and PerTronix electronic ignition as well as an upgraded Elgin camshaft, a Bursch exhaust system, and big-bore pistons and cylinders. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. Bilstein rear shock absorbers have been installed along with Teflon and stainless-steel braided brake lines. A new brake master cylinder was installed in 2018 and the seller states a full engine and transmission rebuild were carried out within the last 500 miles.

This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, the original steering wheel and headliner, a car cover, a spare tire, a toolkit, and service records dating back to 2004.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. This 914 in Signal Orange is a true time capsule example. All maintenance is up to date and recorded since 2004. Matching numbers motor and transmission.”
